Chapter Three: For you, I will

Shawn Stan's Pov

"Do you think Ellie would agree?" I asked Elliot who's pacing back and forth after we made the video call to Ellie

"Knowing Ellie, yes, she will. But my concern isnt that. But..." Before he finished his sentence, there's a call from the landline

He answered it

"Hello, Good day what is...WHAT?!" Elliot shouted

I mouthed him the words why?

And then he put it on loudspeak

"Mr. Amiels, seems like we really really need your sister's help. Chef is still not feeling well. I don't doubt your sister's capabilities sir. But we need her as soon as tonight. The VIP guest will arrive tomorrow morning. " Miss Carols said, the manager of the hotel

I heard Elliot curse under his breath

"Okay. I will call her again" Elliot said then hung up

He looked at me and said " This is what i fear the most. Do you know who's our VIP? That person is the reason  why I'm hesitant to bring Ellie back here. I shouldve rejected it, but the offer is too good to be true that i didn't checked out first who it was. Then it was just last week, that i knew who will be the VIP...... And it's  him" after he said that

I cant help to clench my fists.

Nana Stan's Pov

My brother and my husband kept exchanging nervous glances , then back at me

What the heck is going on?

I furrowed my eyebrows as i concentrated at the glass that's half empty and half contained fresh milk thoroughly

I inhaled and exhaled then decided to talk

"Spill it." I said to the two

"Nana i.." Elliot started

"Please nana, you need not to stress yourself in this" Shawn continued

Okay. There's something big right there

"Okay. Whatever it is. I'm prepared to hear it" i smiled at them assuring them that I am strong and me and my baby can handle this like a pro

"Ellie is going back here" Elliot said

"Oh my gosh! That's good news!" I told them

"Yeah....." Shawn smiled at me but it's only for a moment he then continued

"But the thing is.. She needs to serve at the hotel" he said

I furrowed my brows

"Chef Daniels is still not feeling well?" I asked them and they both nodded

"So? What's the problem? It's good news to me." I told them

"Well, bringing Ellie back here and the kids is the problem" shawn continued

"What? Why is that a problem. I'll book a ticket for them now and they can stay here, in your place or in the hotel. I think it's better if they stay there in the hotel. So that Ellie wont worry of seeing the two cuties while she works there temporarily." I told them but they looked at each other again

"Nana, the thing is.... There's a high chance Ellie would meet him. Not only that, there's also a possibility that he would meet the twins. And by that time, it's hard to deny it" after Elliot explained to me what seems to be their problem

It dawned to me and my eyes widened at the sudden realization

"Oh gosh. What have we done" i said looking dissapointed

"Now nana, please. Calm down. Ellie is a strong girl. She survived those five years alone, she will survive whatever it will be in the future. We just have to be there for her" Elliot assured me

I nodded, and I looked at Shawn

" Can i be the one to tell her?" I asked him knowing he was the one who'll tell her

"Sure." He said and smiled to me

He went to his laptop and started typing ellie's name and she pressed the video call button. We all placed ourselves in front of Shawn's laptop and let out a sigh when the call was finally connecting

We smiled when we saw two little cute faces staring at the screen with excitement. The little handsome boy smiling ,and the little pretty girl grinning. Oh gosh! So much cuteness. And, yeah. Like what Ellie said. They were really the exact replica of their parents. That's his  signature smile that's plastered on Kaleb's face ,and Ellie's grin right there on Kayla's face

" hi my favorite buns!" I greeted at them and the giggled

"Auntie Nana!" They both shouted in unison

Oh gosh. So adorable. These two. I want to pinch them.

"Is your mummy in there? Can you call her over?" I asked them still smiling

Kaleb was the one who took the initiative

"Unca Shawn, what is that you're eating? Is that blueberry cheescake?" Kayla's eyes sparkled as she asked

Oh yeah. This cutie little bun is a cute blueberrycheescake monster

"Yes sweetheart it is. When we meet soon, i'll bake you lots of 'em" Shawn promised her

"You promised! You promised! Better not break it unca, or i'll break your face" and she raised her cute little fist in the webcam for us to see

We all chuckled at her. Oh so much for being Ellie's small version

"Yes little darling. I'll make sure to keep my promise. I'm so afraid of that cute little fist of yours" Shawn said before chuckling again

"Kayla, i told you many times not to be too war freak honey" Ellie said while she sat in front of her laptop

"But mum. Promise breakers deserve my fist" she smirk while saying that

With that we all laughed our asses off. I can't wait to bond with these adorable twins

"Okay little buns. Time for adults to talk. Now go play in your room" i told kaleb and kayla

"But aunt Nana, it's not playtime yet. Kayla and I needs to study" kaleb told him while grabbing kayla's hand and intertwined it with his and they both waved us goodbye

Awwwww. My heart is melting because of these two little ones. I hope inside my stomach will as well be twins

After they left. My face became serious but the smile on my face didn't fade

"Ellie, i know this is such a rush to you. But we need you asap as tonight" i told her straightforwardly

She let out a deep sigh

"I never thought it would be this soon, but okay. I'll pack some clothes and ask Saya to come over and babh sit the kids for a while til i make sure it's safe to bring them there" Ellie said looking at me, at us

We all nodded in unison. We understood what she meant of "safe for the twins to be here"

"And Ellie? You'll be working tomorrow morning" Elliot announced to her

"Okay. I better prepare the best recipes" she said and smiled at us

Oh gosh. How can i tell her...

"Uhmm. Ellie, the thing is...the VIP guest" i started

And i hold shawn and elliot's hand as i continue the next sentence

"You'll be the personal chef of the VIP guest.. He is...He is Kayden...Kayden Pierre"

Silence

I gripped tightly shawn and elliot's hand as the deafening silence continued

Seconds...

A minute...

Ellie smiled

"For you, i will" she said

And we all widened our eyes in shock
