23| Beach

I've been chilling in bed for the past hour-ish, reading and texting the girls.

*Group chat*

Mila: Anyone down to go to the beach?

Jordyn: yes!!!!

Me: sure, I'd love to

Kayla: its 10 am. How do yall have so much energy to go down to the beach this early. I'm still sleepy.

Me: get your ass up were going.

Kayla: Damn, okay mom, I'm going!

Me: good😊

Mila: Great, were all going!

Jordyn: I'll pick everyone up. Kie, just send me your address:)

I sent her my address and I quickly went down to my parents room down the hallway.

I knocked on the door and heard my mother yell a, "come in".

My hand went to the door nob pushed it down and opened it.

I see them both cuddled up close together, watching some reality TV show.

"Hey, sweetheart." My mother said with a warm happy smile.

"Hey." I said.

"Whats up?" She asks, popping the 'p'.

"The girls and I are heading down to the beach." I said.

"Okay." She said adding a small smile at the end.

My eyes went to my dad, asking for his approval as well.

"Go." He said and I then smiled.

"I'll be gone in a bit." I said.

My mom nodded.

I walked back to my room and started getting ready.

I went with a tropical pink, orange and red bikini.

I slid into a pear of denim short and a crotchet cover up.

I put on a pair of crocks.

I last placed a hat atop my head.

My hair was down.

I grabbed a tote bag and put a towel, hair brush, book, sunscreen and other necessities.

I'm seated in the kitchen when I got a messge from Jorynn saying she's here.

"I'm leaving now!" I yelled to my parents.
