"Make sure to take down all of these important key words para papaano ay pumasa kayo sa subject ko." professor gomez said.
I wrote down the important part of our professor's discussion, malapit na ang sem break at gusto ko munang tuonan itong pag-aaral ko kesa sa pagbabasketball. Hindi ko naman talaga napabayaan at kabilang parin sa list ng mga honor students and that's what I'm proud of.
Kahit bola ang kadalasan kong hawak ay kaya ko rin ipagsabay ang edukasyon kaya proud ako sa sarili ko. Pagkatapos ng klasse ay nahanap ng mga mata ko si hiraya na nakatingin sa kawalan ng katabing niyang bintana habang suot ang purple headset headphones.
Wala nang tao sa classroom namin dahil pumunta sila sa cafeteria tanging kami lang dalawa ang nandito. I rested my jaw on the back of my hand while staring something beautiful like an afterglow.
Kahit ako hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit na fall out of love ako kay Jules. She was my dream before but right now it felt like an eye opener. I felt horrible of myself thinking my feelings were messed up by hiraya's entrance in my life.
I planned everything for me and Jules but hiraya just came crashing down my plans. She was like a forbidden book I should read or my perspective will change and I still choose to read it. Ibang-iba siya sa mga babaeng gusto ko pero ang lahat ng ayaw ko sa babae ay wala naman sa kanya kundi ang kulang sa babaeng dapat tipo ko ay napunta lahat sa kanya.
My heart pounded and everything felt so slow. The way she close her eyes and open it back feel so slow. Everything's on slow motion and I felt every glimmers of gold sparkling from her view.
The way her head slowly turn around just to find me staring at her so inlove. Tinagilid niya kanyang ulo at tinganggal ang purple headphones na suot nito. She said something but I was too serious and occupied staring and admiring her innocent questioning look.
"Hero... uy..."
I arch my brows, still staring at her. "Hmm?"
Nagkasalobong naman kilay niya confused while trying not to stare at my eyes. "May dumi ba ako sa mukha?"
Umiling ako bahagyang natawa. "Nope, may iniisip lang that's all." If only you could see how I see heaven in you then you'd understand why staring at you is the best scenery.
Hindi na nagtanong si hiraya pero nagtaka ako kung bakit napatayo siya only to find out she's walking towards my seat. Dala niya ang kanyang backpack at tanging ang kabilang laylayan lamang ang nakasuot sa kabilang balikat. She pout while staring somewhere.
"Let's eat together." she asked and damn it's like I saw fireworks lighting up in broad daylight when she asked me that!
I smirk. "Are you asking me on a date now hiraya?"
Umirap siya bahagyang napatagilid siya sa kanyang ulo. "Wa'g ka ngang bagyong mahangin, sa canteen tayo kakain at hindi 'to date."
Lumaki lalo ang ngiti ko. Damn! I wanna punch the air out of happiness but I don't wanna weird her out. Sa bahay nalang ako magtatalon-talon sa saya!
Tumayo ako at kinuha ang bag handa na pumuntang cafeteria kasama siya. May nakita akong multong ngiti na naka plastar sa kanyang mga labi. Umiling siya at nagsimulang maglakad pauna and I was like a puppy tailing around wherever she goes.
Una siyang lumabas sa classroom and I was behind her when she suddenly stopped at exit door. Naningkit ang kilay ko sa kuryoso kung bakit nang lumabas ako ng tuloyan sa silid aralan ay nalaman ko rin kung bakit napahinto si hiraya.
It was Jules with someone. My eyes darted down her arms wrapped around that guy's forearm. Nang napansin niyang nakatingin ako duon ay madali niyang tinanggal ito. She looked guilty over something and that I caught her in action.
Who's he?
She looked guilty really guilty and the guy besides her looked at me with mocking eyes. Jules cleared her tone to break the silence.
"Hero it's not what you think---" jules got caught off by the guy besides her.
"What the hell Jules? I thought you're gonna tell him about us?!" what the fuck are they saying? "Kaya nga tayo andito diba?"
"Shut up, Luke!" Jules said now irritated and feeling pressured. She looked at me and her gaze soften. "Hero, I've been dishonest with you..." huminga siya nang malalim at nagpatuloy sa pagsalita.
"I felt so guilty about what I did to Hiraya, I felt threatened at her na kunin ka niya at ang atensiyon mo but that's not the only case, I'm angry at her because she saw me kissing luke in a club last month, I-im sorry hero..."
Her tears started streaming down her cheeks and I remain like a statue. Couldn't believe from what I just heard.
The girl I used to like and courted before was having an affair behind my back. I looked at hiraya who looked worried at me also.
I flash a broken smile.
Do I even deserve this?
