Rose petals falling down

Rose petals falling down
One at a time to the ground.
Does he love me, or love me not...
With these words I have fought..

So I wrestle with the words
And hope it doesn't hurt..
Sometimes the anger gets the best of me.
Breaking hearts and let them be.

I tried and I tried to silence myself
But really you never knew what I was about.
You craved my hurtful tears..
Because it must of broke your fears.

To see me weaken to my knees.
It must of set your burdens free.
But it's okay because I am strong..
You ain't scaring me away, I am right where I belong.
