first love

He was her first love, but now she had to let him go.
He wasn't hers anymore to love
It's not for them to know.
Everyone was broken hearted
It was a sad situation.
They departed after their special night of graduation.

He always said to her that one day he's coming back and he's gonna marry her.
But, she smiled in disbelief because that night goes back to a phased blur.
She loved him, like he loved her
But he also left her.

He was her first true love, and that she will never forget.
But, today she's with another man, who she also loves and just met.
She says you can't go back to someone who broke you.
Her heart took a long time to mend, because the love she had for him was true.
She never believed that she was his only love.
She never believed that her love was enough.
So she moved on and fell in love again, but this man never left her side.
He held on to her through good times and bad, he loved her through every teardrop she cried.
This love never lied.
