Thats what i fear

Way above the waters that stands still among the tree.
Lays this emotionless kind of me.
I wait upon the answers that you kept inside your heart.
This whole world out there, trying to keep us apart.

Now i have learned to be on my own.
Where were you, travelling all alone.
Something told me to give you one more chance, but i lost you.
Now your gone, and i am figuring its nothing new.
Thats why its hard for me to give my heart to you.

You say that your not giving up on us.
Well its kind of late now, i don't believe in love.
Thats what you showed me, blame this one on yourself dear.
Hand me another tissue, here comes those heavy tears.
What i am afraid of is my heart will take over my head, thats what i fear.
