Stupid me
Stupid me, to think i was doing fine.
Stupid me, to believe in you all the time.
The first chance you had to slip away, you did and it hurt me.
The first chance you had to leave me, you set yourself free.
Stupid me, for believing what I couldn't see.
I took my chances and I lost a big part of me, my dignity.
I lost a very big part of my soul, it speaks eternity.
Stupid me, for losing myself.
Stupid me, that I ever put my instincts to doubt.
I dressed myself fancy and took a ride to town.
I will never forgive him, for never being around.
Things could have been fixed, if only he spoke some truth.
Things could have been different, if he didn't have to choose.
Stupid me, for putting myself at risk again.
Stupid me, for never thinking that love could end.
