shes alone

She sits alone in her thoughts, just waiting to be recognized.
Going over in her mind what he said to her, why he told her those lies.

She stood up to him with every bone in her body, but he didn't care to see her cry.
It took everything inside her to stand up, and all he could do was lie.

When you love someone,you never want them to feel this way.
You want them to be happy and you want them to feel safe enough to want to stay.
You want them to tell you that everything is okay.
That is how you know you love someone, that is when you know they will want to stay.
That is when you know everything will be okay.
