27. How dare you?

"War and Fights are always hard when the opponent is your own blood or a close one"

Dia was super duper happy and it might be childish, foolish, or silly for her to be so. But she can't just mask up her feelings every time and thus she wants to celebrate with others. She ordered pizza for everyone and even announced that lunch is on her. After that she got back to her work and was busy tallying the last year's accounts when she received a call from a private number. Her eyebrows creased feeling quizzical and after a few rings she answered it. 

"How dare you bitch…? How dare you make my world turn upside down totally and have fun?", a rude arrogant voice bloomed through the phone.

Dia didn't need a second guess to know who that voice belonged to and a hard scowl settled on her face. Her nose flared while blood started boiling in her veins.

"W-H-O T-H-E H-E-L-L A-R-E Y-O-U, huh? And how dare you talk like that with me? Are you forgetting who I am?", she roared.

"Haha… what will you do, huh? I am not scared of you… and remember you won't be living longer with that for the cheap game you played. I'll get back what's ours and you.. you my darling would be left with nothing", she said in an intimidating tone.

"Well .. this game is mine and you are just a silly opponent who would be defeated so badly that you haven't even dreamt of. And btw we will see who is left with nothing or everything… because this time history won't repeat itself", Dia said sneering and kept the call.

This conversation just made her mood fall from upside down. She didn't know why it was so hard for her to breathe after keeping the call. But she was sure and confident about each and every word she said. She won't let history repeat, she won't let her be the victim again and be left alone. She would get back her happiness, peace and everything she deserves. She would fight, win and rule again making herself a conqueror instead of being vanquished.

Few minutes ago..!

In Kundra Mansion, after Karan went inside his son jumped out of the couch in the living room and ran towards him. He had that million volts smile on his face and seeing that everything seemed brightened automatically. The whole mansion was resonating with his pure hearted giggles which from the past few days weren't heard. He missed his dad and that was evident with his silence.

"Dad… you came!!', he said, getting in his arms and Karan scooped him.

Meanwhile, Karan's mother and wife came running outside hearing the voices and seeing him it sent a relief to their scared hearts. They came closer to him as he made his way inside with his son smiling and kissing him. His eyes then shined seeing that large bucket of ice cream and screamed excitedly.

"You are the best dad…. You know what, the days you weren't there no one loved me. And mom even scolded me thrice", he complained looking with teary eyes at him.

Karan passed a small smile at him feeling guilty to forget his small bundle of joy in his own happiness. He then pecked his cheeks, nose and temple cupping his cute bunny face.

"We will punish her… and don't worry I won't go anywhere now nor will anyone scold you", he said, glaring at Riya who gulped hard.

He then handed his son ice cream and  got him down from his arms. Smiling widely he grabbed it quickly and was about to leave when his eyes noticed dressing in his hand.

"Dad.. got hurt.. he has been hurt", he cried while the other two gasped.

Karan just forgot about his wound for a few seconds. He cupped his son's face bowing down and said he is not hurt, it's just a small scratch and it will be fine. And that little child buys the lie. He then ushered him to go into his room and open this bucket while he will join him in a few minutes. The little boy nodded at his order and giving a kiss on his palm saying it will be healed soon left from there like a scared cat before anyone lectured him. As soon as that small kid disappeared, Karan's mother ushered to his side and slapped him hard.
