Zayn was pregnant with his and Liam's first child and they were waiting for the baby to come
"Hey Zayn how is our little munchkin doing?" Liam asks as he comes into the house that afternoon after he had gotten done at the studio writing some new songs
"Good very active today" Zayn says as he rubs his bump cause he was laying on the couch cause his back was hurting him a lot
"Why are you on the couch?" Liam asks him
"My back has been hurting all day and i figured if I lay on the couch the pain will go away" Zayn says to him
"Has it?" Liam asks him
"Nope it hasn't at all" Zayn says as he closes his eyes cause he felt a strong pain in his back and he had to roll to his side so he could continue to talk to Liam
"Zayn are you sure it isn't labor pains?" Liam asks him
Zayn was breathing and rubbing his back to answer the question that Liam had asked him about the pains
"Okay I think you are in labor" Liam says as he helps Zayn through a contraction that he was having
Liam does everything that he can to keep Zayn focus
"How long have you been in labor?" Liam asks him
"I think early this morning before you left for work" Zayn says to him as he moans a little bit cause the pain was starting to increase a little bit
"Well Zayn it looks like our baby is going to be born today" Liam says as he helps Zayn up so they could head to the hospital, so they could have the baby
"Liam I don't want to go to the hospital" Zayn tells him
"If you don't want to that's fine" Liam says as he takes Zayn to the master where he will be more comfortable while he labored
Liam got everything that he had ordered for a home birth while Zayn labored in the shower
"You doing okay?" Liam asks as he comes in to get Zayn and dry him off, so he could get some clothes on and continue his labor
Zayn nods as he moans cause he had felt another contraction come on
"I'm right here Zayn I ain't going anywhere" Liam says as he holds Zayn as he experienced a contraction
Liam helped Zayn to the master bedroom, so Zayn could get dressed, and the midwife could check him to see how far he was dilated
"Could you open your legs Mr. Malik so I can check you?" the midwife asks him
Zayn obeys cause eh wanted this over with
"He is five centimeters and the baby is head down" the nurse says after she checked him
"Here that Zayn our baby is going to be born soon" Liam says excitedly cause he was excited to be a dad
"I want to walk around for a little bit" Zayn says as he gets off the bed
"Okay Zayn" Liam says as he helps Zayn to the stairs, so they could go for a walk around the neighborhood to help speed up labor
As they walked Zayn could feel the contractions getting stronger and close together
"Zayn you are doing so good" Liam says to him as he rocks Zayn in his arms as he experiences a contraction
Zayn was grateful that Liam was there to help him with his labor so they could welcome their little one into the world that night or early the next morning
"Do you want to head back to the house now/" Liam asks him
Zayn nods
"Okay come on" Liam says as he helps Zayn back to their house so he could be checked to see how far he was dilated and see if the baby was going to be born very soon cause Liam did not like seeing Zayn in so much pain

"Liam I feel a lot of pressure" Zayn tells him
Liam was freaked cause the baby was going to be born soon
"Hang on Zayn I am going to get you to our pool in the back, so you can have the baby" Liam says as he helps Zayn to the back of the house, so he could deliver the baby
Liam carried Zayn bridal style to the back of the house
"Zayn I want to be in the house, so can I go to the birthing pool that is set up?" Zayn asks him
"Sure Zayn" Liam says to him as they head into the house so Zayn could deliver the baby
Zayn was starting to push a little bit as Liam carried him into the house
"Hang on Mr. Malik I need to see if you are fully dilated" the midwife says when she sees him start to push
The midwife gets into the tub and checks Zayn
"Well Mr. Malik you are fully dilated, and you can continue to push" the midwife says to him
"Finally" Zayn says to her as he continues to push
"I can see the head" the midwife says when she sees the baby head come into view
"You are doing so good Zayn" Liam says as he strips down, so he could get into the tub with Zayn and support him as he was delivering the baby
"Shut up Liam" Zayn says to him
Liam knew that was the pain talking and not the real Zayn
"One more push and the baby's head will be out" the midwife tells him when she sees the head a little more
Zayn gave one big push and the head came out
"Hang on let me see if the umbilical cord is wrapped around the baby's neck" the midwife tells him as she checks the cord
Zayn continues to pant as they waited to see if the cord was wrapped around the baby's neck
"The cord is not around the neck, so you can continue to push" the midwife tells Zayn
Zayn goes back to pushing the shoulders out
"Hang on the cord is wrapped around the bottom part of the baby" the midwife says when she sees the cord wrapped around the middle part of the baby
"It's going to be okay Zayn we will see our little one soon" Liam says to him as he wipes the sweat that was on his forehead away
"Okay two good pushes and the baby will be here" the midwife tells Zayn
Zayn pushed until the baby slipped from him
"Congrats you two it's a girl" the midwife tells them as she gets the baby from the water and places her on Zayn's chest
"Look at her Liam" Zayn says when he holds the baby for the first time
"She looks like you" Liam says to Zayn
Zayn smiles at that comment
"Would you like to hold her?" Zayn asks Liam
Liam nods as he accepts his daughter
"Hey there sweetie I'm your daddy" Liam says to the baby that he was holding
