It was just like any other ordinary Thursday morning. You were sitting in your two-hour History class ignoring everything that was coming out of your professor’s mouth. The only thing that was on your mind was your boyfriend of a year and a half, Liam. You haven’t seen him in 4 months because he’s been on tour with his band, One Direction. Yes, the ever so popular boy band, One Direction. You knew Liam loved his job and you loved it too. It’s just really hard to be away from him for such long periods of time.
You glanced at your watch to see that the class only started thirty minutes ago. You rolled your eyes and sighed before taking your pen and doodling all over your clean sheet of notebook paper. Suddenly your phone buzzed on top of your desk causing you to jump. The professor stopped talking and gave you a look saying, “Put it away.” You put your hand up in defense and whispered that you were sorry. He sighed and went back to the lesson. You quickly turned the vibrating off so your phone was completely silent if it went off again. You looked at your phone and saw you had a text from Liam. You couldn’t help but smile.
“Hey beautiful. What are you up to? :)” You texted back instantly. You didn’t get many chances to talk to him because he’s always so busy.
“Hey Li. Nothing much, just sitting in history class. Bored out of my mind as usual. What are you up to?” He answered back almost immediately.
“Oh, nothing much. Just chillin’ on the tour bus with the boys. I miss you so much, (Y/N).”
“That’s fun. Tell them hello for me. I miss you too. You have no idea.”
“They say hi. I’m sorry, baby. I’ll see you sooner than you know it. I just can’t wait to hold you in my arms again. Well, I gotta go babe. I love you.” After reading his last text you couldn’t help but tear up a little bit.
“Love you too.” You replied before turning your phone completely off and putting it in your book bag.
You sat in class for the next twenty minutes just thinking about Liam and how much you needed him. You daydreamed of the day you go to pick him up at the airport and running to him and jumping into his arms. You two sharing a passionate kiss in front of everyone in the airport and not caring what anyone thought. What you two had was true love and you weren’t afraid to show it. You were brought out of your daydream when you saw something moving outside the window to your left. You looked down at the sidewalk across the street from the building and saw one person you never believed you would see standing there.
It was Liam.
You looked to the front of the classroom and shook your head thinking it was just part of a dream or maybe just your imagination. You looked back outside and realized that Liam was for sure there. He smiled and gave you a little wave. Your eyes grew wide with shock and before you knew it you were running out of the classroom, down the stairs and out the front door of the building. You heard your professor yelling after you, but you didn’t care. You sprinted across the street and jumped into Liam’s arms, wrapping your legs around his waist, the minute you got to him.
“I missed you so much (Y/N).” He said squeezing you like he thought if he let go you would disappear. You pulled back and placed your forehead on his, looking deep into his eyes.
“What are you doi- You know what, it doesn’t even matter. What matters is that you’re here and I can’t explain how happy I am. I missed you like crazy.” You didn’t let him respond and you crashed your lips to his. He kissed you so passionately. It was definitely like no other kiss you two had shared before. You placed both hands on his face and deepened the kiss; you could feel him smirk when you did this. You pulled back smiling like an idiot. “Surprise.” he whispered before smiling and connecting his lips to yours once more.
