You just moved to London because you’re studying abroad for a year. You’re so excited! It’s what you’ve wanted to do for so long. You’ve been here a few times and you absolutely loved it and hated it when you had to go back to the states. You felt like you belonged and now you’re finally here. One day when you were walking down the street you found a coffee shop that wasn’t too far from the university. Once you got your drink you decided to sit outside the shop and just relax. You took in your surroundings and just thought about how you’re actually here. You couldn’t help but smile to yourself.
“Umm. Hello there.” Someone with a thick Irish accent said startling you and bringing you out of your thoughts. You looked up to meet the most beautiful blue eyes you’d ever seen.
“I’m really sorry. I didn’t mean to scare you. It’s just I was walking by and well you’re a very beautiful girl. I had to introduce myself. Hi, I’m Niall.” He said smiling and holding his hand towards you.
“Oh, wow. Thank you and hi, I’m (Y/N).” You said taking his hand and shaking it.
“What a beautiful name.” Ye said not letting go of your hand and bringing it up to his lips. You couldn’t help but blush. Niall noticed this and seemed to enjoy it.
“Do you mind if I join you?”
“Not at all.”
Niall took the chair across from you. You two talked for hours. About anything and everything. Laughing and just enjoying the time together. You couldn’t believe how easy it was to talk to him. He even told you about the boy band, One Direction, he is in. Apparently they’re really popular, but you’ve never heard of them, which actually seemed to surprise Niall.
“Oh my. I completely lost track of time. I really need to get going. I have class.” You said while glancing at your watch.
“Alright. Well is there anyway I can see you again. I really enjoyed the time we’ve spent today.”
“Yes, of course. I really enjoyed it too. Here I’ll give you my number.” You said while quickly jotting down the number on Niall’s hand.
“Thanks. You’ll be hearing from me soon.” Niall said with a wink and then he placed a sweet kiss on your cheek.
You blushed and started to walk off. You touched your cheek where his perfect lips had been. Once you arrived to class and it started you couldn’t pay attention. The only thing on your mind was Niall. His amazing blue eyes, his blonde hair, his accent that you couldn’t get enough of, and his smile that made you melt on the inside. You spent the whole time thinking about Niall that you hadn’t even realized class was over.
“Umm. Miss? Class is dismissed. You can leave now.” Your professor said bringing you out of your thoughts.
You quickly gathered your things and left. As you were walking down the street back to your flat your phone vibrated in your pocket. You pulled it out and noticed you had a text message from an unfamiliar number. You opened it and read, “Hey (Y/N). It’s Niall. I was just wondering if you were busy tonight? xx” You smiled at the text and quickly replied.
“Hi Niall! Nope! I’m free tonight. What did you have in mind? :)”
You pressed send and continued to walk. Once you arrived at your flat you got another text message.
“It’s a surprise. ;) Just send me your address and be ready by 7:30.”
You sent him your address and agreed that you’d be ready by the time he got here. You had time to take a little nap before you needed to start getting ready. Once you woke up you took a quick shower and picked out your outfit. You didn’t want it to seem like you were trying too hard so you choice a cute floral skirt and a blouse to go with it. You got dressed and finished up your hair and makeup. Just as you were finishing putting your lip gloss on there was a knock on your door. You hurried to the door and and opened it to see Niall looking absolutely gorgeous.
“Hello, love.” He said giving you another kiss on the cheek. “Ready to go?”
“Ready as I’ll ever be.”
“Alright then. Shall we?” He said holding his arm out for you to link yours with.
Niall lead you to his car and opened the door for you. He started driving away from the city. You were a bit confused.
“Niall? Where are we going?”
“It’s a surprise, remember? Just trust me and relax. We’ll be there really soon.”
You had a little bit of trouble relaxing, but you did trust him. The car finally came to a stop. It looked like you were in the middle of no where.
“Umm. Niall, where ar-” Niall placed his finger on your lips to stop your sentence and got really close to you.
“Do you trust me?” He said in a low sexual voice. His face just inches from yours. You looked up into his crystal blue eyes and nodded.
“Okay. Then hold my hand and close your eyes.”
You did as he said. You felt like you were walking for a long time, but once you stopped Niall placed an arm around your waist.
“Okay. 1, 2, 3. Open them.”
You opened your eyes to an amazing view of the city and a picnic set up.
“Niall! You did all of this?” He nodded and smiled.
“My bandmates came out and helped me set it all up.”
“It’s absolutely beautiful. I love it!” You said giving him a big hug.
You both sat down and ate some of the most delicious food you’ve ever tasted. You both talked even more. It’s amazing that you two could find anything more to talk about, but you did. There was never a dull moment. You and Niall ended up laying down next to each other and just looking up at the stars. Niall put his arm around you pulling you closer to him. You placed your head on his chest and just listened to his heart beat.
“I’m really glad I met you, (Y/N). I know I haven’t known you for a long time, but you’re honestly one of the most amazing girls I have ever met.”
You lifted your head and looked at Niall. He slowly leaned in and placed a very gentle yet passionate kiss on your lips. You couldn’t help but smile into the kiss. After kissing for what felt like hours you parted and smiled laying your head back on Niall’s chest. You loved being here with him in his embrace. Even though you just met him it really didn’t matter. You loved everything about Niall. He was the perfect guy. After that amazing night with Niall you two spent so much time together. Almost every single day. He eventually asked you to be his girlfriend which of course you said yes. Niall said that he had finally found his princess. And you couldn’t help but think you’d found your prince.
