I could feel my heart thumping hard against my chest because of nerves. Standing at the end of the aisle, everyone began to stand for my bride. I couldn't help but smile when I thought of spending the rest of my life with (Y/N). She was the one person that made everything better, made everything worth it. I turned around from facing the wall of the church, to the door she would be walking through, and I couldn't breathe. There in front of me, walking like an angel with her father next to her, was my baby. Her long white dress flowed from her waist, but hit her in all the right places. She was carrying pink flowers, and the veil that covered her face didn't do a thing to dim her bright smile.
Her father took her hand and placed it in mine with a small smile. I couldn't imagine how he must be feeling right now. Handing your daughter over to another man to love and protect her. I could only hope that one day, I'd be able to be as calm and collected at my daughter's wedding. I felt a slight squeeze, and looked up to see (Y/N)'s face beaming at me. I honestly couldn't breathe whenever she smiled like that. It was like I had been hit by a semi truck. She had me wrapped around her finger, and she didn't even know it.
The pastor began speaking, and it came time for the vows. (Y/N) opened up a small piece of paper she clutched in her hand, and began reading, "Niall James Horan, I have been waiting to marry you for what seems like ages now. Growing up, I never thought I would love someone so much that I could happily spend the rest of my life with them, but you completely changed that. You make even the worst day a happy one, and you make me feel whole. I promise to love you and cherish every moment together, as long as we both shall live." That bright smile was back, and everyone was looking at me as it was my turn. My hands were shaking, but I felt a warm happiness growing in my chest. I hadn't really written my vows down, but I knew exactly what I wanted to say the whole time. "(Y/N), from the very first time we met, I knew you were special. Ever since I was young, my mother would tell me that one day I would get married and have kids, but I could never picture that with anyone. That was until I met you. I soon came to imagine our wedding, and how our daughter would have bright blue eyes like mine, and just amazingly beautiful like you. I thought of you holding my son, and telling me to stop singing because I'd wake him up. When I look at you, (Y/N), I see the future; my future. I promise to protect you, as well as our family. I promise to love you, and make sure you know everyday that my world wouldn't shine as bright if you weren't there to be my sun."
(Y/N)'s bright eyes were tearing now, and I couldn't help but feel happy tears brimming in my own eyes. She placed a thick band on my ring finger, as did I with her small silver band, and the words I had been waiting for all night rang throughout the church. "You may now kiss the bride!" I wrapped my arms around her waist and crashed my lips to hers. We were both smiling so hard that I was sure our teeth were probably touching. But I didn't care. We broke the kiss and turned around, and I saw all the faces of the most important people in our lives. On the right side, I saw (Y/N) standing next to her maid of honor who was helping her with her flowers, crying lightly because her best friend finally was married. I saw her parents, her brother and sister, and couldn't help but feel proud to be able to call them family now. On my left, I saw my brothers, Harry, Zayn, Liam, and Louis, all clapping and shouting. They had been poking at me the whole day, saying that (Y/N) must have been pretty great to tame THE Niall Horan. I still rolled my eyes thinking of that. I saw my mum as well, crying into the shoulder of my dad, as Greg stood clapping with Denise and little Theo in her arms. My whole family was here to see me marry the one person that I considered my world, and I couldn't feel more blessed. I was never the religious type, but every once in a while, staring at her or holding her in my arms, I knew it was someone bigger that brought us together.
I took (Y/N)'s hand in my own and we started walking back down the aisle. Making our way into the reception area, she broke away from me for a second to talk with her best friend and her mom. I got hugs and encouraging words from all of the boys, before (Y/N)'s sister came over and said it was time to enter the ballroom. I looked around the room, spotting my beautiful wife trying to fix her hair in the mirror, I chuckled. Always the perfectionist. I walked up behind her and put my arms around her waist, placing a light kiss on the base of her neck. "You ready to dance, Mrs. Horan?" She grinned, turning around and looking up at me. "I am ready, Mr. Horan!" We both laughed and walked up to the closed doors that would lead us in to our friends and family. I heard the light music stop, and the DJ came on, "Everyone get ready for the newest married couple on the block, Mr. And Mrs. Horan!!" The doors flew open and bright lights were shining our way. I turned to (Y/N) smiling, and her own happiness mirrored my own. If this night was any clue as to how the rest of my life would be, I couldn't wait for forever.
