Chapter 19: Caleb’s Band

Nakakailang naman. Bakit ba parang may nakatitig na hindi magandang elemento sakin? Peste!

Habang tumutugtog yung ibang banda, naghihintay lang kami dun sa waiting area ng mga bands. Sina Jayden, Nate, Eli at Ava, parang din a kinakabahan. Eh kaso bakit ako super kaba pa din?

Hala, dalawang bands na lang kami na. Kasunod pa kami ng banda ng asungot na si Caleb.

Peste! Bakit ba ang bitter ko lang kay Caleb. Bahala na nga sya.

Sige na. Kayo na. Pati kanta nyo mayabang. Hmpf! Bittttteeeerrr talaga. Para akong tanga.

“Machree, magready na kayo, you’re next.” Sabi nung isang member ng event.

“That’s our cue.” Sabi ni Nate.

Nag-group hug muna kami at nagdasal.

Lumabas na kami ng room at nag standby sa may gilid ng stage. They’re performing their original song now. Napansin kong may hinahanap si Caleb from the stage. Then he saw me. Tapos may parang binulong sya sa mic na part nung song. And the lyrics were: “I never meant to hurt you but if you’ll just give me another chance I’ll make everything right again”. After ko madinig yun, di ko na pinakinggan yung song. Kinausap ko na lang si Ava.

“Ava, where’s Led pala?”

“Hi!” may nagsalita sa tabi ko.

“Speaking of the devil. Bigla sumusulpot.” Sabi ni Ava.

“Pataubin mo sila ha.” Sabi sakin ni Led.

“Haha! Sure!” sagot ko na lang kay Led. I’ll give this performance my best.

Natapos na din yung banda ni Caleb at nag-iintro na yung mga hosts.

Habang nag-iintro sa band namin, umakyat na silang apat...

Pagkatapos ng intro sa band, nag-sound check na sila. Grabe ang astig talaga nila. Tapos may light effects pa. Ang cool talaga tignan. Parang gusto ko na lang sila panoorin.
