I'm Not Jealous

Anna's Pov

I was in Austin's car in the passenger seat. There was an awkward silence between us.

"So..." I said.

He didn't look at me. He was focused on the road.

"Are you good at bowling?" I said turning to him.

He shrugged, "Eh."

"Oh." I said.

"Do you like bowling?" I said.

"What's up with all these questions?" He said.

I gasped, what was his problem? I crossed my arms and I faced the window.

"Look. I'm sorry, Anna." I heard him.

Ignoring...

I heard him sigh and I continued to look out the window.

I saw Ace's car parked in front of the bowling alley. He was leaning against the car with a girl.

I felt the jealousy rush through my body.

No. No. I don't like Ace. I don't care..

Austin pulled into a parking spot and he stopped the car.

I was staring as Ace was laughing with her. I got out and I pulled my shirt down. I followed Austin over to them.

The girl giggled till she noticed me and she looked me up and down.

"Anna this is Elizabeth. My girlfriend." Ace said.

GIRLFRIEND?! I can't believe he has a girlfriend when he was flirting with me 2 days ago!

"Hi." I said with a friendly smile.

"Hello." She said and she smiled back.

"Let's go bowling!" Austin said and he ran inside.

"Come on, Ace! You can do it!" Elizabeth cheered.

He made another strike.

He came back and he fist bumped Austin.

"Anyone want drinks?" Austin said.

I nodded and Ace agreed to go with him.

It was me and Elizabeth and there was silence between us.

I decided to break the silence.

"So how did you meet Ace?" I said turning to her and her face was red in anger.

"Stay away from Ace, you hear me?" She said.

What?

"Oh." I said wide eyed.

"You hear me?!" She said again.

"Yes!" I said backing away from her.

"Good." She said.

I really wanted to cuss her out but Ace and Austin came back.

"Here you go." Ace said and sat next to Elizabeth.

She grabbed his hand and made sure to show him off.

My eye twitched and I imagined myself throwing a bowling ball at her head.

I am too violent so don't mess with me....

I sighed and enjoyed the rest of the game.

"Yes!" Ace said as he made yet again another strike.

He was a pro at bowling.

"Good job." Elizabeth said and kissed his cheek.

I stared at her, how she was showing Ace off.

My eyes stung as I haven't blinked once while staring at her.

She was evil, and I really really hated her.
