Confusion Overload

Anna's Pov

Austin and Joshua asked me if I wanted a drive home and I let them.

I gave Ace a hug. The first ever hug between us.

"Bye." I said with a smile.

"Wait-" He said as all three of us turned from the door.

"You two go. I need to talk to Anna." He said to Austin and Joshua.

They both left and I had a confused look on my face.

"Yes?" I said sitting back down.

"Do you really love me..?" He said.

My heart started to pound. I do love him but I'm afraid he won't have the same feelings.. This is hard for me.
I actually have never been friends with people like Joshua, Austin and most of all... Ace. He was the most popular guy at school and I actually got the feelings for him. They way he smiled made me fall for him.

"Anna?" He said coming into my thoughts.

"Oh..." I said.

"Well.. Do you?" Ace said.

How do I say this.. Do I say.. "Yes I do!" Or... "Yeah!" Like how to respond to such a question?

"I... Uh... Yes." I said.

His eyes widen and he smiles.

"Is it bad?" I asked.

"No." He said.

"Okay."

I got up awkwardly and walked out of the room. I don't know how to react. He didn't say anything. I knew he wasn't going to feel the same way.

"Took you long enough." Austin said outside of the hospital.

"Ace just asked me questions. Sorry." I said.

"What kind of questions?" Joshua said.

"Nothing really. Doesn't matter." I said smiling.

Joshua and Austin both blinked and shrugged.

"Thanks for the ride." I said to Austin,

"No problem." He said with a smile.

I said bye to both of them and I walked inside my house.

Home Sweet Home

"How is Asher?" My dad said.

"Dad, it's Ace," I said.

"Right... How is Ace?" He said.

"He's good." I said.

"He's a handsome young man." My mother said from the kitchen.

"Mooom.." I said.

"Oh yeah sorry." She said.

"Do you like him?" My dad said.

"I honestly don't know." I said sitting down at the kitchen table.

"Hm." My dad said petting the top of my head.

"If you do.. He seems like a great young man. He would treat you well." My dad said.

I smiled.

Ace Rider was really a great guy. He could be rude at times but who would blame him?

"Get some rest." My mom said.

I nodded and headed to my room.

*BEEP*

Ugh. That's my annoying alarm. Yeah I get it I have to go to school!

I turn the stupid thing off and I get up.

I yawn and stretch and I just remembered it was the day Ace was getting let out of the hospital.

I smiled and I got ready and I had him on my mind the whole time.

While I was curling my hair there was a knock on the door.

Curiously, I go down to the door and I see Austin.

"Hey Austin" I said smiling and he was frowing.

"What's wrong...?" I said.

"Are you and Ace dating?" He said.

My eyebrow furrowed in confusion,
"No?" I said.

"When you guys were talking I heard that you loved him." He said looking down.
