"Kristine! Run!" Katherine yells as rouges come toward us.
"No!" I shout in fear. If I leave who will have her back? Katherine looks at me with warm eyes.
"I'll be right behind you. Just.... just don't look back, okay?" She tells me, tears brimming her eyes.
I nod, then run. I run as hard and fast as I can. When I hear a terrifying scream behind me I know she lied. Kate isn't right behind me. Rogues killed her like they did my family. I cry as I continue to run. I don't stop until I trip over a branch. Then I just lay there crying. I have no one. Everyone I love is gone.
I look up to the moon with determined eyes. The rogues will pay for the pain they've caused me. I'll make sure of it.
