You never know what you've got until its gone. That is so true. 3 weeks ago I had everything. A nice husband. 2 lovely children. A good job. I had it all. It's strange how one small thing can change your life forever. And that's just what it - or should I say HE - did.
On my 20th birthday my family was attacked. My husband was brutally murdered right in front if me. My two children kidnapped and found dead three hours later. My money stolen while I was beaten and left lying on the floor with no hospital for miles around. I tried screaming but all that came out was a muffled whisper. That was it. I was gonna die there and then and no one would ever even know what happened. I held my cold cheek where I had been slapped and felt a tear fall onto my hand. I fell asleep, hoping it would end my pain and misery.
