I ran fast to the next pack, tearing my clothes and turning into my wolf as i ran.I couldnt think straight. All i could think of was Nathan. He was like my little brother! I couldnt let anything happen to him!i had to stop them before they did anything to him! I was at their pack house in 5 minutes flat,crashing through the door and racing through the house searching for him. I mind linked him, screaming his name hoping he would answer.
"Miss Lexi whats wrong?"
"Are you OK Nate?!"
"im fine Miss Lexi whats wrong?" He sounded worried. I was confused. How could he hear me or mind link me? Unless...
"Nate are you in your wolf form?"
"yeah why??"
"why are you in your wolf form?"
"erm... I... erm... " he sounded upset.
"Nate?"
"Bethany rejected me. She said she was too young to have a mate and that i should go back in 10years or so but that i should keep my hopes up" he sniffled
"Nate... i... i... i didnt know. I'm so sorry. Are you alright?"
"Im fine..." he whispered. He sure didnt sound fine...
