D A I S Y

Home was where your heart lay. I'd known in theory what home was supposed to be. It was the warmth of a fire on a cold christmas night, surrounded by torn wrapping paper and this burst of heat in your stomach. It was the taste of hot chocolate in winter but ice lemonade on the hottest days of summer.

I'd been searching for it so long.

Home.

I knew the closest I felt to home was Corwin Wilde.

It was like his breath on my skin, his arms holding me, the warmth of his eyes. That was what home should feel like.

You're driving me crazy.

I couldn't recall the last time I was this happy, it's become increasingly hard to wipe the grin off my face and people noticed. Kaden, who didn't know much about Wilde and I, but whose eyes twinkled like he knew what I didn't tell him or anyone.

Why's that?

I responded, casting a quick glance to Wilde, who was already crafting a message, a grin on his handsome features. I used to want him, want us, like this. It felt unbelievable that finally, he was mine. No Cecile, just me and him and forever waiting for us.

I want to kiss you. It doesn't help that you're biting your lip.

Have I ever told you how sexy that is?

I giggled at the new message that popped in my phone.

After class. The abandoned room by the third floor.

When I glanced at him, our eyes met. I felt it all, fireworks, warmth and electricity. I was almost dizzy with it. Wilde's been my best friend since we were ten. He knew all my secrets, dark spots and all but he loves me. That made every feeling I've ever felt since I met him, magnify. I'd long since given up the possibility of an us, but that night when he whispered those three words.

I didn't know what came over me but it felt like what home would feel like.

I can't wait.

That but with a lot of sex.

I kept sneaking glances at Wilde, watching his knee hop up and down, eyes trying so hard to focus in class but constantly glancing at me.

When class ended, Wilde all but ran out, leaving Edward bewildered in class. I took my time, feeling excitement build up in the corner of my stomach. I was up the third floor, near the abandoned wing when I saw Wilde frowning.

"What's wrong?" I whispered.

"I think my bio teacher's gay."

I rolled my eyes, "Way to kill the mood, Cor."

"No, seriously."

Wilde laced his fingers with mine, sending my heart fluttering again, he pulled me to the class that we meant to meet at when I heard two distinctively male voices panting. My eyes widened. Wilde met my gaze, shrugging.

"Oh Richard," a male moan from Wilde's biology teacher echoed so faintly that if you weren't right outside the classroom you wouldn't know that two teachers were possibly fucking.

"I guess we can't use that class," I whispered, smiling in amusement.

"We'll find another," Wilde said pulling me impatiently, "C'mon we've got thirty minutes till football practice."

I couldn't hide the grin that fell into my face. Casting a glance around making sure there was no one around, I tugged Wilde pulling him close so my lips could meet his in a perfect kiss.

"I love you," I said lips brushing his.

Wilde grinned, fingers holding my neck. He felt so perfect so comfortable, he was everything I ever wanted. "I love you too." His lips brushed mine in a chaste kiss that send my body on fire, "but we really need a room, Daisy."
