Ryder's POV//
"How was the party last night?" I ask Mackenzie holding her in my arms as we continued watching our show
"I actually have to talk to you about that" She stutters pausing the TV and looking at.
"What's up" I ask confused
"I hooked up with someone" She blurts
i feel a pang of hurt in my chest but wipe it away quickly
"Ok... What's so serious about that?" I nervously chuckle
"It was Scott" She sighs
"That doesn't change anything" I lie, she hooked up with the guy that's bullied me since day one, i would never be able to look at her ever again.
"I can't do our relationship anymore" She sighs
I lie there staring into her forest green eyes that were staring back at me. I felt a pang of hurt in my chest when i realize what she just told me.
I grab her hands in mine as i feel tears brim my eyes, "Kenzie, come on you can't do this me!" I cry begging her to take it back
"You remember what i told you" She sniffles holding back tears herself, "no strings attached, one of us was going to get hurt eventually"
"I-I don't care that you hooked up with Scott, just please don't leave me!" I beg, letting the tears fall from my eyes, soaking my cheeks
"That's not the only thing i did, He asked me out" She drops her head in shame, "and i said yes"
With that she runs off as i let myself drown in my tears. I felt my heart break all over again. First my parents now my first love...
