[ Nick's POV ]

HERE.GOES.NOTHING

I look myself at the mirror and feel just fine. Okay, I admit I kinda feel quite nervous. Yesterday I've made a promise regarding on how to wear my outfits which I find ridiculous and quite insulting. Why on earth they over reacting on how do I wear my clothes? Do I really look that bad? Sigh. Whatevs.

And now I'm wearing this pink pastel color dress which Kuya bought yesterday, together with a plain white Vans sneakers, a brown sling bag, a flower stud earrings and a plain headband with my hair down. Its simple and nothing to admire that much. But why do I feel like I'm attending some party which I'm not invited? It's just a dress for goodness sake! Because you are afraid of what others may say to you. Confirmed my inner thoughts. Yeah, you're right. But how do I keep myself calm? You just have to ignore those negative thoughts you're hugging. Because it's not healthy to you physically and mentally and emotionally. She's not your friend, she's the silent killer of all human beings for not trusting themselves.

O-kaaay. Now I'm getting paranoid again. Stand straight. Think positive. And keep it cool.

Kuya was very proud of me because I'm wearing his gift. In return I just smile back at him but deep down I know I'm so nervous. After we separate ways I texted Kevin immediately.

"Hi Kevin. It's me, Nick. Wer r u? I'm at the playground.'

Ping!

"Yea. Omw."

I stand there a for a while and I catch some passerby looking my way and immediately my heart beat race. They're just looking! And here I am feeling all conscious all by myself. I wanna get away from here. Where's Kevin anyway?

"Kevin. Wer r u?"

"I'm here just now. Can't see u."

What? There's only few people around and he cannot see me? I know I'm kinda small but NOT that small as you think. Well, if you're going to compare me with my two siblings, definitely I'm  way shorter than them. C'mon I'm just five foot flat lady.

"U're joking. Asan ka na ba talaga?"

Then there's a call from him.

"I'm not kidding. Andito ako. Puntahan mo na lang kaya ako? I'm sitting on the bench near at the swing part."

"Seriously? Wow. Ako pa talaga pupunta huh! Fine. Just wait there and don't hang up yet." the nerve of this guy! He's the late but I'm the one who's going to fetch him?!

"Tara." I said when I got near him, drop the call while he look up on me.

"Nick?"

"Yeah?"

"....."

"What? Get up now! We better get going so we can have a good spot for our seats!"

"You've changed." he said staring up at me.

Then I became conscious again. Now what?
