Kayden's POV
That girl! Why does it always happen to me?!
"Puh-lease!" she pouts, cutely. How can a 4 year old girl look so damn cute?!
"No!" I shout "I will never do it."
"Pweaaase"
"What is 'pweaaase'?" I ask watching her puppy face intensify. She knows she has this effect on me.
"Pweaaase!" she pouts even more.
"No I wo-Fine! I'LL DO IT!" damn it!
"Yay!" She cheers and pushes me in his direction.
I gulp. Do I have to do this?
I start walking towards him.
"Oh, hi Kayden! Wassup?" Jack waves upon seeing me.
"I'm sorry." those were the last two words I said before I grabbed his face... And...
Kissed him.
And then I earned a slap.
Why does Elly makes me do these things?! Damn!
Elizabeth's POV
"A-are you c-crying?" he sounds really worried.
But then I feel hot tears flowing down my cheeks. I quickly wipe them and look at him with a smile "No! Everything is fine."
He pulls me towards himself and caresses my back. "are you surely okay?"
I nod.
"Let's get out of here." he whispers, sending shivers down my spine.
"B-But"
"Don't worry about the party. Let's go."
He grabs my hand and starts leading me towards the main door. After we get out of the house, we both sit in his car and speed off to somewhere I don't know.
I keep on staring at him. But then suddenly I realize what I am doing and hastily turn my face to look out of the window.
I just see the trees passing, before the car suddenly jerks to a stop. I turn to look at him.
"We're here." is all he says, before getting out, me doing the same.
I get out and gasp at the sight ahead of me. It is beautiful. It is a cliff, but it is so high that the whole California is visible from here.
"Is it nice?" he asks, rubbing the back of his neck.
"It's wonderful! Beautiful!" I shout.
"Yes... Beautiful." he whispers. I turn my head to see him looking at me. His deep blue eyes are so enchanting.
"Can I say something?" he looks away.
I nod.
"I-I like you. No-nothing like love or anything. But I think I like you."
I continue to stare at him. Dumbfounded. What am I supposed to say? 'I like you too'? Or 'I need some time'?
"Pl-please say something." he finally looks at me.
"I-"
What do I feel about him? I don't even know what 'liking someone' is? I have only loved one person in my whole life.
But... I do find him attractive. I think he is nice. I love to stay with him. Do I like him? Do I?
Maybe I do.
"I like you too." I reply.
He stares at me wide eyed. "Really? For real"
I Nod.
It doesn't takes him a second before he pulls me in his arms and hugs me. I like this feeling. Maybe I do like him.
No. I do like him.
I like him!
He likes me too!
Is this really true?
"I like you." he speaks again.
"I like you too." I say back.
