Chapter 11

"Y/n, everything happens for a reason." They gave me a creepy smile one that even a witch can't pull off.

"Why are you here though it isn't possible you died, Kenny."

"No I didn't die I was banished there's a difference you know." -Ky

"It doesn't matter right now Kenny. Just-"

"Just what kill you and feast on the soul that once banished me. If I do eat your soul I will be the most powerful Kishin alive and no one can stop me. I must say for someone like you I didn't expect a death wish."-Ky

"I am not asking to die I am asking for explanation."

"What you think you deserve one I will give you advice though and it's that you should never leave all of your close friends alone in one place."-Ky

I started to panic and hyperventilate. I know what Kenny can do and I know whom he use to be and it scares me to think of what happened.

"Where are they?!" My voice was quivering but stern although I didn't get much from him other than a simple laugh.

"You really think I would tell you jeez how stupid are you."-Ky

"Very, apparently."

"Heh glad you know. Now let's fight I am bored from this little conversation."-Ky

Without warning he uses a gun and fires at me. Instincts kicking in I jumped in the air doing a backflip to dodge the bullet. He has an advantage since his main body is at the top of him as the rest of him is just a mountain of solid green goo. He doesn't waste a second as he begins to fire some more bullets.

This guy has changed his strategy from last time and is very unpredictable and quick. He also is stronger than last time this could be bad in my part. I need to stop dodging he will soon trick me and I will be dead. Think Y/n, think.

My brain was telling me to obviously to give up since last time was because I had people fighting with me, my parents, but now it's a one on one battle and I am outnumbered in many categories. Although my body says another, it tells me to fight and to finish. I look around me trying to find any clue of a weakness instead all I saw was feared people watching from a distance and a sad story in front of me. My body and mind began to fight each other and guess who won, my body of course. I got into a stance and was starting to say random spells coming into my head. I ball of what looks like light but actually is a very harmful spell was in my hands. Kenny looked at it and questioned me.

"Are you seriously going to show your true self to everyone." -Ky

"What do you think?" I was nervous, focused, and scared. Nervous that this might not work, focused on creating the spell, and scared of what will come from the people.

After finishing the long a** spell I began to sweat from the power I held in my two hands making me weak and very hot. I looked at him trying not to snow any weakness then I already have. He looked shocked but confident. The spell lifted up and I aimed and like I was throwing a baseball at the bat it hit him or so I thought. He disappeared yes creating an illusion of a soul floating having the crowd cheer, but if you paid close attention you could see a lone shadow walking away through the crowd.

I missed. No no not now do not feel sorry right now. Cause as of now we must head off and find the others.

I ran off through the crowd unnoticed and searched for my friends and what I have left of family. I searched every single suspected place finding no trace of my friends. I then came to an idea and my last hope. Which was to find Lord Death. Running at full speed I make it to the Death room by sundown. Panting I tried to sound out words.

"Lord... Death...Kid... and others...gone."

He looked at me worried and sad. He didn't say a word and pointed up. So I looked up to see Kid, Liz, Patty, Maka, Soul, Tsubaki, Black Star, and the twins all hanging lifeless in a ball of green goo.

"How did you find them?" He didn't say anything just looked down sadly. Instead of asking anymore questions I muttered a spell which made them come out of the goo slowly and unharmed. As they reached the bottom their eyes fluttered open and they made weird faces almost like they weren't human and technically some aren't but this was a unsettling strange face. I look over at Lord Death to see him doing the same.

"G-guys?"

Forevermore I shall remember, 'things always happen for a reason'.

A/n: Well that was the chapter for the week sorry if it was dull or boring , I just couldn't have her find them that easy and well yeah. By the way the Kenny in this story is not Kenny Ackerman, sorry if I disappoint people but this Kenny is just a character I made based off of someone I know. Anywho thanks for reading.
