Standing right in front of him sword in my hands, guns in his. We got in our stance and were getting ready to duel. I brought myself to have a little pep talk before we started and honestly I already knew this fight is going to be harder than any other fight.

'Come on Y/n you got to win and I know this is Kid we are fighting and you like him a lot but don't let personal feelings get into the fight. Not this one, I can't lose, more like I don't want to lose, but that's not encouraging.'-thought

"Go"-S

Stein gave off his unenthusiastic "go" and I waited for his first move like always to see how he uses his weapons and then find a way to get past his defense. I waited for a while as no one moved and I could hear classmates whisper, "a shinigami and a witch fighting", " this is going to be good but obviously Kid will win." Their comments were distracting me and Kid noticed and shot at me but missed by a lot. I was confused and I knew something was wrong with Kid because he doesn't usually miss. I gave him a questioning look. He shot again but was off again and I could hear Liz and Patty talking to him.

"Kid whats wrong, stop shaking. You can't aim right."-L

"Are you alright Kid?"-P

I became scared and all of a sudden worries for Kid that my hands started to shake themselves.

'Kid be alright please, please.'-thought

"Y/n you good?"-Ka

"Your hands are shaking."-H

"Fine, fine, I'm fine."

I couldn't speak normally and I knew my mind wasn't going to be in the right mind for a while. All I could think of was Kid and worry for him. I tried to refocus but couldn't because I wanted to know if Kid is alright and this made my mind falter the idea of victory.

'Y/n you got to focus, Kid is alright. At least I think so, or I hope so. Aah Kid please don't be hurt. Oh my, idiot! You should have payed attention to his fight because if you did you wouldn't be in this position! Kid, why won't you tell me if you're hurt?'-thought

"Uh Y/n?"-H

"What are you doing?"-Ka

I realized that I was pacing back and forth and that my hands were messing up my hairs and Hikaru and Kaoru were facing downward being held by only my thumbs. I properly put Hikaru and Kaoru back into a fighting position holding them with all my fingers on the handles. I blush from embarrassment as I looked at Kid. My tail started to hit my back rapidly and more unreasonable possibilities of Kid's condition came to mind.

'What if he is fatally hurt? What if he's dying? What if-'-thought

"Yah you two do something already, or I will re-duel with Y/n."-BS

Black Star interrupted my thoughts as we looked at him and I started to have trouble responding.

"What no, I mean yes, I mean nas."

"Nas?"-Ka

"Really?"-H

"Shut up you two."

I started to move towards Kid and I was a few feet away from him but my worry for Kid overpowered my feeling to win the battle since I couldn't stop the spell in time I used my own spell and hit myself with a strong gust of wind that I started to roll away to my right but I quickly got up giving myself a headache.

"Okay Y/n why did you hit yourself?"-H

"We could feel that you hurt yourself"-Ka

"No reason, in particular. Hey look at rabbit."

"There is no rabbit what are you talking about ?"-Ka

"We should take her to the hospital later."-H

"What hospital!? No!"

"Sorry you are going to be a good girl right?"-H

"And go to the hospital later"-Ka

"What no!"

"Bad dog."-H, Ka

"I'm not a dog."

"Woof!"-H, Ka

I didn't respond because I heard Liz and Patty talking to Kid.

"Hey Kid are you alright, you are worrying me."-L

"Yeah Kid are you aren't being yourself."-P

"I-I'm fine."-K

I couldn't handle it, it was stressful and because I love Kid much more than winning, I was willing to give up my win just to know Kid is all right. So because of that I dropped Hikaru and Kaoru and rand to Kid wrapping my arms around Kid and he dropped Liz and Patty. The weapons transform to human and everyone looked at me.

"Yah Kid don't tell me you're hurt. Where does it hurt, I'll heal you?"

I looked at Kid in the eyes and he seemed to notice my worries as he sighed and hugged back.

"I'm sorry I made you worry Y/n but you don't need to worry about me."-K

"But you are hurt aren't you, why else would you be acting that way?"

"I'm not hurt... I was scared."-K

"Of what?"

"Hurting you."-K

His grip tightened around me and my tail that was hitting my back began to sway side to side. Kid loosened his grip on me and placed his hands on the sides of my shoulders and slowly pulled me forward to his face and soon enough our lips touched and as we kissed for a good half a minute and during that time it was only me and Kid in the world as no one else mattered. Happiness and love was the only thing I could feel. Butterflies flew throughout my body making me smile and blush like crazy. We sadly had to let go and I noticed my classmates for once. Most were just in utter shock of what they saw, others were just fangirling, one was stoic, Maka and Tsubaki were smiling, and Black Star and Soul, Hikaru, Kaoru, were either giving a gross face or a smile. I looked at Kid who was giving off a very happy smile and showed him a bright smile in return.

"I resign"

"Well then the winner is Death the Kid."-S

"Why did you resign?"-K

"Because you are more important than to me than winning."

"Aww."-L

I am going to be an aunt Liz."-P

"What no."-L

"Not yet."-H

"This is just getting started."-Ka

"Hikaru! Kaoru! Get yo ass over here."

They stick their tongues out at me and I ran after them as they ran away.

~Time Skip~

It was almost time to leave school, exactly one minute left. But then out of nowhere;

"Can L/n Y/n cone to the Death Room."

At first I didn't know it was me until Kid walk up to me.

"Y/n my father wants you."-K

"Wait me." I pointed to myself.

"Yes."-K

"Oh. I'll see you later then Kid."

I left the classroom and entered the Death Room as I noticed a Lord Death nervousness kicked in and my palms became sweaty.

"Hello Y/n."

"Hi Lord Death. What is it you need from me?"
