Chapter 10

Y/N POV

As we reached our destination, the counselors pulled a small drawstring bag. "So, campers, there are no phones allowed in here, so hand it to us and put it in this bag, we will return it after three days." Marva said, as she made the bag wide open for us to put our phone, "What? No!!! What am I supposed to do when I'm in this hell hole? Sit in the cabin and knit???" Lavender complained. I can see Thomas in the corner if my eye, rolling his eyes, irritated. I chuckled silently from what I just saw.

Y/BFF/N and I walked into our assigned cabin and unpacked, we met a few more girls in our cabin, maybe because this is the cabin they're assigned to. One of the girls walked up to us, "Hi I'm Hally, Hally Parker." She greeted and gave a hand to shake. "Hi, I'm Y/BFF/N Greene, and this is Y/N Y/L/N" Y/BFF/N while pointing at me and shaking Hally's hand. "Nice to meet you, this is Annie, Elizabeth, and Amber." I waved at the shyly and said hi.

I picked the bed by the window, I checked the time, it is now 10:30 am, took a twenty minute nap because of exhaustion.

~twenty minutes later~

"Y/N! Wake up!! Me and Y/BFF/N gonna play UNO cards in Dylan's cabin!" Hally shouted as she wakes me up. I got up and rubbed my eyes, "who brought the cards?" I asked her in a groggy voice. "Dylan, of course! Duh!" She stated as she pointed at Dylan at the doorway, "So, do you want to play?" Hally asked. "Well, I guess I could wait for lunch by joining you guys." I shrugged. A bright smile appeared across her face and suddenly pulled me out of the cabin onto Dylan's cabin, little did I know that Thomas is his cabin mate.

Thomas POV

I was laying on my bed, fiddling with a coin, waiting for the lunch bell to ring. Suddenly Dylan shouts. "Hey guys! Who wants to play UNO cards?" "I do!" Dexter and Peter responded and I stay silent for a second. "Maybe I'll join" I said. "Alright, wait here, I'm going to ask if Y/BFF/N and her other friends in their cabin." He said and walked out of the cabin.

~Time skip~

Dylan arrived with Y/BFF/N, a girl named Hally, I thought it was only them when they entered and greeted us boys, until they realized that the other one isn't behind them, they all turned and forced her to go in. "Come on, there's no turning back, here!" Y/BFF/N said, as they pull the stubborn girl in here, "but-but, i changed my-my mind!!" A voice said while pulling her arm back to her. The voice is somehow familiar, yet I can't put my finger on it.

We all stared at the situation in puzzled faces, curious on who is the girl. Until she finally gave in, letting me see the Y/H/C haired girl I kept on staring these days, Y/N.

"WHA-WHAT THE SHUCK IS HE DOING HERE?!" Y/N asked, I can see her eyes beginning to fill with fury. "Well, I joined in to play and I was assigned in this cabin, why? Is there a problem?" I said in a stern but calm voice. She groaned and rolled her eyes. "Hold on, am I missing something here?" Hally asked, as if she doesn't have a clue on what's going on. I can hear Y/BFF/N explaining it to her quietly and Hally mouthing 'ohh', understanding on what's happening.
When Y/BFF/N was explaining it to Hally a while ago, Dylan is scolding at Y/N calmly, "Well, you said you wanted to play, there's no turning back now." He said with a stern voice. I suddenly felt jealousy came in to me, but I ignored it and get on with it. Y/N let out a sigh in defeat, saying, "Fine, let's just get on with it"

We sat on the floor of the cabin, making a circle, having Y/N, across me.

Dylan was shuffling half of the card, while Hally is shuffling the other half. Later on, they distributed the cards in tens, and started the game.
