At the Beginning (sequel to Journey to the past)

Chapter seven: reassurance

It was very late and Bruno had finally fallen asleep.

I gotten dress and went downstairs. Alice and Edward were playing chess...well attempting to.

Jasper and Jacob were watching a movie.

"Jacob why are you still up?", I ask

"Jet lag", he murmurs.

I nodded and sat down beside jasper.

"Well...we don't smell blood so we know no one is dead", Jacob chuckles.

I gasped and bite my lip.

"Jacob was the only one in the house we all went hunting", Edward says

"Don't worry we won't be nosed like the dog listening in on your private time", jasper assures

Jacob scoffs.

"Yea, it is YOUR house, you do what you want with your fiancée", Alice says

Jacob the sucked his teeth and went out the door in anger. That made me laugh and feel better...I shouldn't feel bad for anything I did this is my house after all.

"Cmon Bells, let me take you around the perimeter so you can get use to the area and I'll show you the best hunting spot.", Alice says

Morning...

I knew Bruno and Renesmee would be waking up soon. So I go into the kitchen and began to cook some breakfast for him and Jacob.

I made some eggs, pancakes, bacon, toast, and some coffee. I also got two bottles of formula and blood ready for Renesmee.

"Super mom already", Edward comments

I giggled. "Gotta practice so I'll be prepared for when you guys leave", I say

He nods.

"About the volturi", he says and sits down

I nodded knowing this would come up at some point.

"I don't think you should go because you delivered her...I don't want them to know about her and if they find out we don't need a fight to break out...like last time", I say

"And all honesty sister, I won't blame you for that but you couldn't even try to not attract danger for a month when we went away", he says

"the fact that you went to try to kill you self-"

"Your basically my twin, partner in crime, Bella. I can't live in a world without you because you are my favorite"

"I can hear you!", Alice calls

He chuckles. "Other than Alice"

"Carlisle would be the best option", I say

He nods. I heard footsteps getting closer and Bruno walks in with a very different baby...child.

"She was calling me", Bruno says and hands her to me.

"Goodmorning renesmee", I say

"Goodmorning mommy", she says fluently

I gasped and stared at her, I looked at Edward and he just smiled. To not upset her I smirked at her and kissed her head.

"Goodmorning Bruno", I say

"Goodmorning, love", he says and begins to eat

"Are you hungry", I asked her

She nods. I pick up the formula bottle first and she immediately shook her head.

"If you drink half of it you can have the other one", I say

She rolls her eyes. She looked so much like Bruno when she did that, she takes the bottle and begins to eat.

"After she's done I'm gonna measure her", Edward says

I nodded.

"I'll wake the dog up to eat", he says and speds into the other room

I sit beside Bruno and he looks at me.

"How'd you sleep", I asked

"I slept...amazingly though I was alone when I woke", he says

I giggled." I'll remember that", I say

"Mommy, can I have the other one now please", Renesmee says in her soprano voice

I nodded. Bruno grabs the other bottle and traded it for the other one with her.

"Thank you daddy", she says before sucking on the bottle

"You're welcome sweetie", he says and touches her cheek

"So...you're family", I begin

"They will need to meet her soon before the papz find out...hopefully we are really good at hiding her with her rapid growth", he says

I nodded.

"I was thinking soon while they are still here so they can meet at least a few of them",

I nodded again and then I noticed a mark on him. A bruise...from me.

"Are you Alright?", I asked just as Jacob enters

"What?"

I motion to the bruise on his arm, he looks, and chuckles.

"I am fine. I would've said something if I was hurt I promise", he assures

I nodded.

"So, today I was thinking you and I go out and do a bit of shopping for missy right here", he says

We both looked down at our creation and she waves at us and continues eating.

"I think that'll be great...what's the weather like down here?", I asked

"Sad and gloomy", Jacob murmurs

"What's up with you?", Bruno asks

He shrugs his shoulder.

"He's mad because Alice but him in check last night", I answered

Jacob rolls his eyes and Renesmee giggles.

"So buy her clothes and then what?", I ask

"Time to measure Ness-"

I shot Edward a glare and he bites his lip. He takes her from me and goes into the other room with her other aunt and uncle.

"Sight use to the area", he says

"Thanks Bells for the grub", Jacob says and washes his dish

"You're welcome Jake", I say

Bruno then stands up and kisses my head.

"Breakfast was great", he says

I smiled at him.

I really wanted to take Renesmee out all her life so far she hasn't left the house.

Maybe she can...I'll have to ask Edward.
