At the Beginning (sequel to Journey to the past)

Chapter nine: Extended Family

A week later..

It's been a great week everything was going well for all of us. Bruno released another album that has been doing really well, I've gotten use to my new hunting grounds even though there aren't very much mountain lions my favorite...but plenty of bears, and Renesmee...she started walking.

It was both saddening and amazing how she just got up and did it.

We were down in Bruno's studio, Renesmee was on the floor playing with some spoons, and watching her father go back and forth from his piano and his computer. She stood up and just started walking towards him.

It was saddening because she was growing super fast but I hope she can stay this small for a little while longer.

Surprisingly we haven't seen any pictures of Renesmee online or in tabloids which was a surprise.

I was out with Edward and Renesmee hunting but also to get out of the house because even though Jacob imprinted on Renesmee But there was still tension between him and Bruno. So I was taking a break from it.

"So we are gonna be leaving soon", Edward says

I sighed,

"I know and I'm gonna miss you", I say

I was holding a baby deer up for Renesmee to drink from.

"But I know Alice and Esme will be visiting more often and so will I", he assures

"That's great", I added

"Mommy, I'm full", she says

I nodded and kissed her head. My phone then rings and I see it was Bruno, I handed Renesmee to Edward, and answer the phone.

"Hi, babe", I say

"Bella, you need to get here now", he says urgently

"Why, what's wrong?", I asked

I looked at Edward and he gives me a worry look.

"My sisters and mother are on their way here"

"Why are they coming here?", I gasped

"The media they'll be here in an hour", he says

"We're coming"

I hang up and both Edward and I begin running towards the house. As soon as we get there I take Renesmee and run right up to my room and started a bath for her.

"What's wrong Mommy?", she asks

"You aunties and grandma are coming here to meet you", I say and undress her

"Grandma Esme and auntie Rose?", she asks

I shake my head. "Your daddies sisters and mom, so I'm going to need you to not bite anyone and not to use your gift or abilities"

I being to wash her up and wash her hair.

"What if they don't like me?", she asks

"Baby, They will once we explain to them why you are so big", I assured

She didn't say anything and just played in the water for a bit. I take her out and wrap her in a towel. She was still so tiny fits right into my arms.

I put on a diaper and some clothes on her which was grey leggings, a purple long sleeve dress, and white socks. I set her down on her feet and she runs of the room.

I go into my room and put on a pair of black leggings and a black fitted shirt. I go into the bathroom and put on a pair of brown contacts.

Bruno walks in with Renesmee.

"I'll introduce her to them when it's time she shouldn't you know...", he says

I nodded. He kisses me just as the door bell rings. He sighs and leaves us.

I listen very closely at what was going on.

The door opens and all their scents hit me but didn't bother me as much.

"Bruno my baby boy-" Bernie begins

"What the fuck have you been doing and where have you been.", I hear Jaime say

"Um, this is Edward, Jasper, and Alice Bella's siblings. That's Jacob...Bella's childhood friend", Bruno sighs

"Where is Bella?", Presley asks

"Whyd you guys leave to come here?", tiara asks

"Does anyone else notice the baby shit around here?", Tahiti says

I held Renesmee closer to me as she hides behind my hair.

"Um, listen I'm going to have her come down but when she does...can you guys not spook her", Bruno says

"Let's give them some privacy", Edward says

I heard some shuffling and the back door sliding open and closed.

"Sit down. Please", Bruno urges

I heard more shuffling.

"Listen I'm only goin to tell what you need to know. In regards to me and Bella", he begins

"What do we need to know", his mother says

"That Bella is a little different...and we are engaged"

There was silence.

"Of course we knew that the ring is all over the media", Tahiti says

"And something has happened between her and I...I think you should see for yourself but please don't startled her", he says

I knew he was talking about Renesmee.

"Are you ready baby", I asked

She shyly nodded but stayed buried in my hair.

"Babe, come down", he calls

I stood up with Renesmee still in my arms. I slowly walked down the stairs, I start to see everyone and Jacob in the kitchen watching from a distance.

"Babe", Bruno says

I see everyone in my living room starring at me and starring at my daughter

"Bruno", Bernie gasps
