So, after that battle they headed to the Pokémon Center to heal up, and Jori decided to call his uncle.

Jori: "Hi, Uncle Sycamore." In his cheerful, childlike voice.

Sycamore: [Oh hey there Jori. How's Alola been treating you so far?]

Jori: "It's great, I made some new friends, think you might know em."

Sycamore was confused at this, but had an idea on who they were.

Ash & Bonnie: "Hey Professor Sycamore!"

Sycamore: [Ash, Bonnie. Good to see you again. Professor Oak told me about the betrayal, and I'm deeply sorry for what happened. Also, someone else wants to see you.]

Then he moves aside for Alain, along with a red haired girl.

Ash: "Hey Alain and Mairin!"

Bonnie: "Good to see you guys again."

Mairin: [Yeah, same here.]

Alain: [We know what happened, and if I hadn't defeated you, well...]

Ash: "It's not your fault, so don't go blaming yourself for this."

Alain: [I understand, Hey if you become Champion some time soon, how about we celebrate over dinner, my treat.]

Ash: "Hell yeah!"

Sycamore: [Oh yeah, Jori, about your mother.]

Jori: "What about her?"

Sycamore: [When you disappeared, I told her what happened, and she didn't respond well.]

Jori's aura started to darken.

Jori: "Like how?"

Sycamore: [She threatened me, saying that I kidnapped you, so I told the police what happened before she could do anything. When they got to her place, it was up in flames, stating that her "son" did it.]

Jori: "That bitch!"

Everyone: !?

Sycamore: [But don't worry, I told them you couldn't have done because, you know, not being in the region when it happened. Before anyone could know it, she disappeared without a trace.]

Jori: "Oh ok, I'm glad she's disappeared, I just hope I never see her again."

Sycamore: [Alright stay safe, by the way, like the new outfit.]

Jori: "Thanks."

Alain and Mairin: [Bye guys.]

Ash and Bonnie: "Bye."

With that the call ended.

Ash: "Hey Jori, I take it you're not too fond of your mother, huh?"

Jori: "I'll explain later. Right now, I'm hungry."

Later-At Kukui's House.

Ash, Gary, Paul, Bonnie, Dawn, and Jori all said bye to the Alolans and are currently eating dinner back at the house.

They were talking about where to stay while in Alola, thinking about renting a house. Kukui and Burnett offered at least one or two of the kids to stay if they want to because you know, adult supervision, am I right.

Jori: "Thank you for the food!"

Kukui: "You're welcome. Also, Professor Sycamore told me to tell you about a special Pokédex for you arriving."
