The little Brutal Star Pokemon summons a magic barrier and blocks the Spark. Mimikyu on the other hand, takes the Accelerock, but due to it's special ability, Disguise, protects it.

Ash/Jori: "Damn."

Jessie: "Mimikyu, use Shadow Claw on Luxio!"

James: "Mareanie, use Water Pulse on Lycanroc!"

The Disguise Pokémon brings out a large, dark claw and stretches it to the opponent.

Jori: "Bruford!" They said worryingly.

Ash: "Quick, dodge!"

Lycanroc jumps up avoiding the water attack.

Jori: "Discharge!"

James: "Protect."

Ash: I have an idea. "Accelerock on Mareanie!"

Jori: ??

Ash: "You'll see where I'm going with this."

Lycanroc rushes in on Mareanie's Protect. Once the Protect deactivates, Bruford's Discharge hit the opponent head on.

Zapp!!

James: "No way."

Meowth: "When did the Twerp get so smart?!"

Jessie: "Speaking of which, what kind of nickname is Bruford?"

Jori: "Listen to more music, bitch!"

Jessie: "DID YOU JUST CALL ME A BITCH?!!"

James: "Jessie, we need to focus on the battle."

They were distracted, the Chosen duo were sending in attacks on the TRio's Pokémon.

James: "See, this is why we need to focus. Pin Missile on Luxio!"

Jessie: "Play Rough on Lycanroc!"

Jori: "Zap them away with Discharge!"

Ash: "Use Counter!"

Bruford shocks the Pin Missile attack, disabling it. When Mimikyu beats down on Lycanroc, the wolf tanks it and unleashes a mighty Counter.

TRio: "Oh no!!!!!"

Ash: "Let's finish this."

Jori: "Right."

Before anyone could do anything, a large pink bear appears.
