Once inside the house we headed directly to the kitchen to get ourselves some drinks.

We stepped to the sitting room which was now a makeshift  dancefloor with our solo red cups in hand , I had to admit the place was pretty big almost the size of mine.
Drunken teenagers stumbled to the floor, others were running to the bathroom to puke their guts out. Typical highschool parties I thought to myself.
To be completely honest, I have not been to so many highschool parties when I was in Tennessee but that does not mean I have not been to parties.

Dudes in Tennessee thought I was in college because of my tats, I did not bother to correct them. I took the opportunity to attend almost every frat party they held. They were way cooler than highschool parties but hey who is complaining.
A party is a party right? As long as there is music ....and alcohol of course.

I was a wild goose but a smart one at that. Life in a military school was not obviously easy but it made me mature ahead of my age. It wasn't always merry making but it had it's fun moments too.

"You good?" Kate asks as she takes a gulp from her red cups.
"Feels great!" I shout back over the loud music.

Kate tugs my sleeve dragging me towards the dance floor in the process .

" What are you doing?" I ask her though I already know what she is up to .

"Come on Ryn you got to let loose a little bit. Over here dance with me ,"she pleads.

" I AM not that much of a dancer you know that right?"I contemplate on the possibilities of kicking someone's butt as I dance. I laugh at myself just thinking about that. I mean that's what they teach in a military school right? Apart from studies.

"Nobody is even looking at you. I know your dance moves really suck but please do this for me." She whines giving me puppy eyes.

I laugh in response and decide to join her. Just about five minutes later the song marry me by Jason Derulo plays and Kate reminds me of a crazy dance style we used to perform with that song.

" I AM not doing that in front of all this people. Count me out this time." I say trying to get away but she's too quick for me.

" It will be fun I promise,"she squeals.

" I can't believe I agreed to do this," I say rolling my eyes.

As the song came to an end we were sweating like crazy. People were shouting and screaming, others were were cheering some just following the flow of events.
" That was intense" I commend looking Kate in the eye. She was breathing heavily like she just ran a marathon.

"It was a ten minute thing Katie, you are breathing as if you are from I cross country" I chuckle. She just groaned in response.

"Well I definitely did not go to a military school like someone here, you can't blame me ." She finally manages to reply.

"Hey Kate..who's your friend. I have never seen her around." another girl who is about 5'6 speaks.

" Ryn this is Clarke my friend from school. Clarke this is Ryn my best friend." She introduces.

" Whoa. Hold it right there . Wait a second Kate. This is Ryn as in Ryn .. Ryn the Ryn." the girl Clarke seemed to be having a hard time taking the information in.

"What's that supposed to even mean?" I smile at her.

" Yes Clarke this is Ryn. The Ryn" Kate decides to intervene.

" You have some explaining to do Kate. What does she mean by 'The Ryn' I quote her words.

" You mean you haven't heard. Everyone in Starview was expecting you to school yesterday. You've been the talk of school for almost a week now. It's either the girl from the military school...the girl with the tattoos..the girl with piercings..Kate's friend the one from Tennessee...the Ryn girl or even better the bad girl .
Everyone is anticipating what you will do when you come to school" she finishes out of breath.
