I stare at the article again and the tears don't stop falling.
I don't get why someone could sell such a cruel story about me.
I've isolated myself from the world. The only thing that's keeping me alive right now Is my son.
He's now four months old and so chubby.
Yes it's been four months with my name being dragged in the mud.
I had to block my instagram and every other social media profile because I was being lambasted and bullied.
He comes in holding pink lilies.
"This is crazy "
He says as he switches on my light.
"Go away Siyabulela. Leave me alone "
He comes and crouches next to my side and I face the other while wiping my tears.
"You've never cared what people think. What changed? "
His voice is gentle now and comes out almost as a whisper.
I sigh. I've lost most of my strength and have no ability to fight now.
"You think it happened over night? Well, it didn't "
He makes me sit then pulls me to his chest as he's now sitting on the bed with me.
I find comfort in his arms and for a while, I forget about everything happening around me.
"Do you trust me? "
He asks, his hands cupping my face and my eyes fixed on his.
I nod, biting my lip as I yearn for his lips to cover mine.
"Stop looking at me like that "
I giggle as he says that and perks my lips.
"I trust you to make me come"
He chuckles, licking his lips.
"Ayanda, I'm not your child. You don't get to dictate to me"
I laugh as I get on top of him.
"It was worth a try"
"I know you just want to use me as a distraction. That's your style"
I chuckle.
"But it's different because I love you more now "
"No"
"Do it for Thando"
He laughs.
"I'm still not convinced. Look, I want you to stop hiding. I want my bubbly girlfriend back"
I sigh.
"It's not easy OK. People talk when I pass by. The names they call me, our son"
He squeezes my hand.
I'm trying not to get emotional but this is too much for me.
I did try to act like it doesn't affect me but I failed dismally.
"I know who did this and they're going to pay. I've been avoiding the press but it's time I set the record straight "
He says, and I shake my head.
"Siya, no"
I say but that falls on deaf ears.
"You're a match stick now. I love your slim body but this is not my Ayanda. I can't have you sinking into depression because of what people are saying "
I sigh, knowing that I want him to make this disappear.
"I love you and our son. You guys are my family and I only want to see you smile and cry tears of joy"
I blush instantly. He's become good with words since he messed up and I love it.
He's more expressive and knows the right things to say.
His lips land on mine and I close my eyes as he kisses me.
"Now, stop stressing "
I nod like a little baby.
He kisses my forehead and I watch him leave after kissing our son.
I'm more relieved knowing that he'll take care of this.
Oh how I wish Alexis was here.

CINDI
Life has been good for me.
I've never been a social media fan but I have quite a following now.
I have everyone on my side, seeing me as a victim in my failed marriage.
I've been secretly going to interviews which I've been getting paid for.
I'm happy with myself and with Luke.
He comes in looking rather tired but goes to the oven for his food.
"Hi"
He Says and sits next to me.
I'm busy painting my nails.
"Hi"
I think he's aware of everything happening around Siya but he's never confronted me about it.
I can't say I know what's going on in his mind.
He just comes in to sleep. He's been working a lot these months.
"Are we finally going to spend time together? "
I ask because I'd like to know.
"I think it's time you got a job and started helping me around here. I'm tired of having to work so much "
He says and for a moment, I'm lost for words
I've never had to work.
"Wow"
That's all I say before continuing with what I've been doing.
"Cindi, I'm not Siya. I've been patient with you now but we don't even have a child. I don't understand why you have to stay at home, doing nothing while I go out slaving for you"
He says and he's now more stricter, definitely trying to get his point across.
"I've never had to work "
I admit.
"You worked during December and you had no problem with it. "
"Luke, I turned down the only job I could find for you. I got comfortable with this lifestyle and got used to it. Heck, my mom is not even talking to me now but you saying this"
"You've always been stupid "
I know that voice very well and we both turn to look at him.
He comes in and looks at me like Luke is not in the room.
"You just never know when to stop and no matter how nice I try to be, you keep pushing "
I swallow hard. The look on his face is not pleasing.
Siya looks like a monster right now and Luke is just quiet.
"Don't you ever get satisfied? You'd rather go out of the way, trying to ruin a life of a girl who's younger than you all because of your bitterness "
I laugh but that doesn't mean I'm not scared.
"What are you talking about? "
I ask and he comes closer to me
"I know you're the one who's been selling all these lies about Ayanda. She's being called a home wrecker, a gold digger and even a witch. My girlfriend refuses to get out of the house now because of you"
He's not loud but his tone tells me he's not pleased.
"It was you? "
Luke finally speaks and I can't even turn to look at him.
"You're going to come clean about everything and I mean it. You're going to clear Ayanda's name Or only God knows what the hell I'm going to do to you. Just like you created this mess, you going to Clean it and that's an order"
He takes out a memory stick from his pocket, puts it on the coffee table then leaves.
I'm left devastated and not knowing what to do.
I remain the same position until Luke comes with his laptop.
I don't even remember when he left my side.
He inserts the stick and after a while, I hear my voice.
I'm beyond shocked.
"Get out"
His voice say and it's like I'm dreaming.
"Get the Fuck out of my house! "
He roars, startling me in the process.
This is one side of him that I've never seen.
"Luke, please "
I beg, trying to touch him but he doesn't let me.
"I'm done with you. So done. I've been way too patient but this shit is not worth it. Go find yourself a cow to milk"
Those words pierce through my heart.
I'm still sitting in that same position when he comes dragging my luggage.
He throws it out and as he marches back in, I stand up.
"I have no where to go. Please "
"Go! "
He says and taking my phone, I shamefully walk out.
My tears keep falling but it seems they won't save me.
