POV: Katie

I smiled. Aaron and I were walking hand in hand, swinging our arms as we walked. The two of us had been dating almost a month now. Aaron pulled me over to the docks on the edge of the beach. I smiled and kissed his cheek. We sat down on the end together and stuck our are feet in the water.

"Aaron," I asked, hesitantly, "how do you feel about Travis?"

"I don't know," he shrugged his shoulders, "he just annoys me. Why?"

I shrug my shoulders. I stare at my hands.

"Hey, you ok?" Aaron asked me.

I nod, shyly. He lifts my chin and kisses me gently.

"Katie, I know you like him," Aaron said. "I've known for a while."

"Aaron..." I said, sadly.

"Kates, it's ok. There's someone else I kind of like too," Aaron blushed.

"That's good. So we are ok then?" I asked. I didn't want to loose Aaron as a friend.

"Oh yeah. Definitely," he smiled, "it was fun while it lasted."

I smiled and kissed his cheek. "Thanks."

And that, my friends, would be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Oof that was short. Hope you don't mind. I really didn't know what I was doing on this one.
