Gaius's POV

"(Y/n), come back here!"

"No way! Catch me first!" she yells running faster than before.

I scoff and pick up the pace. No way is she getting away with my candy.

"You better watch where you're going, Gaius!"

"Huh?"

I suddenly jump to the side avoiding a blast of white energy. (Y/n) stands proudly ahead with Breidablik in hand.

"Did you just shoot me?"

She says nothing and keeps running.

"Tch, how troublesome. And to think a stupid bet started all this..."

Flashback - Earlier that day

"Gaius, can you come here for a second? I require some assistance."

I turn around and (Y/n) is trying to move a rather big bag.

"Sure" I pop my last lollipop in my mouth and go over to help.

We drop it off in a room filled with similar packages.

"What's with all the bags, (Y/n)?"

"It's been so peaceful lately, the only way to get orbs is by trade."

"But why are you still stocking so many? You could do more than 5 full rounds of summons no problem."

She shakes her head, "It's not cheap. My provider isn't the most generous individual."
