Qin's POV

I sat at my desk with the rough draft of our letter that we want to send to Aniavin. The girls had given us a list of pointers before they went off to do Alice's maternity shoot. Drake poked his head into my office while carrying the twins. I smiled and laid the draft down. "Done with Pyrus already," I asked him. Once it was clear we were all moving and creating our own continent, Pyrus sat down with his sketchbook, to plan it out. The artist and contractor in him sees this as the world's greatest project, and he was eager to get it started. I already have a team sent out constructing the land with the maps Pyrus had already drawn up. Once we break it to the humans, Pantheom and I will be joining them to ensure it's done to my mate's liking.

"He got into his creative zone out mode and I felt kind of useless," Drake replied as he put the twins in their play pen I have set up in the corner. I chuckled, "He is excited. This is his chance to really show off. The castle is amazing, but this is the opportunity of a lifetime." Drake chuckled as he came over to my desk and sat on the corner of it. "How is the draft coming," he asked me. I handed it to him, "It's hard to write it without wanting to sound hostile." He nodded, "That would definitely be counter productive." "I just worry that if we do this, it will come back to bite us in the ass," I told him. "Once they get the ability to use magic, who's to say they won't attack us?"

He nodded, "I was thinking the same. Nathaniel thinks differently. They have the ability to use magic everywhere else and have teachers. They could have attacked us anytime they wanted. We outnumber the Aniavins by a lot now that we're unified. It would wipe them out if they tried. Plus a certain powerhouse will soon be able to go back to kicking ass and taking names, and even I do not want to be on the receiving end of her wrath. One look at Adira is enough to send anyone who is smart, running in the other direction."

He had a point. I sighed and slouched a little in my chair. He eyed my desk, "I noticed your paperwork is almost nonexistent." I nodded, "Yeah. When, I brought it to the warlocks attention that they could vote to leave this land and create our own, they instantly jumped on, completely agreeing and getting to work. I know it's only short lived but I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts."

Drake nodded, "You deserve a break." I nodded, "We all do." He smiled softly, "That we do." I looked over at the twins, a soft smile on my lips.

He took my hand and pulled me up from my chair, "Come on." We picked up the twins and went to the bedroom. We laid them down for a nap before changing into something more comfortable. Drake grabbed the baby monitor and we went to the media room. He laid on the lounge and pulled me to him, my back resting against his chest. He wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his chin on my head. I sighed, relaxing into him. We were watching Deadpool when Shelton came in, his hair wet, wearing sweats. "I take it you didn't have much paperwork too," I asked him. He nodded, "Yeah." He then laid down, his large body covering mine, his head on my stomach. I ran my hands through his hair, my attention turning back to the movie, until I felt myself begin to drift asleep.

Nathaniel's POV

I found Pyrus working in his office, drawing and sketching away. Crumpled up balls of paper were scattered about every where. "Hey fire starter," I said, gaining his attention. He looked up from his current work. He gave me his usual lopsided smile, "Hey my sexy leech." I lifted the plate in my hand for him to see, "You need to eat something. You've been in here working for hours." He looked at the clock on his desk, "I didn't realize." I chuckled softly, "I know." I placed the plate down and he moved his things over. "Are the girls back yet," he asked me. I shook my head, "No they're enjoying the beach and are wanting to get some pictures in the sunset." He nodded as he took a bite of his sandwich.

I picked up his sketch book and flipped through his various ideas. He was incredibly talented. The first time I had seen his work, I had trouble believing it was really his. It had such delicate detailing. A contrast to his bright and rough personality. I still had the sketch he had given me of Shelton and Drake naked, tucked away. He had drawn it as a birthday present before we had met Cindy. It was one of his best works, in my opinion. I just needed one with him and the rest of our mates and I'll have the full set.

"This is amazing," I told him, looking over the different landscapes to accommodate the various species. "Qin's team has the final drafts," He told me. "I'm currently working on a few temple ideas for the Moon Goddess." I flipped the page he was talking about. On the page was a temple designed much like old Greek structures with a modern twist. I then flipped the page and saw a symbol he drew. It was a crescent moon with seven stars inside it, following the curve.

"What's this," I asked him. "Just a doodle," He told me. "I figured since we're going to be our own country, we'd need a flag. The stars represent each of the seven rules, bringing the kingdoms together, bound by the Goddess. Although Alice isn't a ruler by blood, she still represents the witches, even if it isn't an official representation like being High Priestess is, it's a representation nonetheless It was just something I did out of boredom."

"I love it," I told him honestly. "Show it to the others later." He nodded, and wiped his mouth free of crumbs. I placed his sketchbook off to the side, "You should take a break. You've already done so many amazing sketches and designs. It wont kill you to take the rest of the day off." He ran a hand through his hair, looking unsure. "Come on, even Qin and Shelton are taking a break," I coaxed. He gave in and we walked down the hall, and I noticed something out of the corner of my eye. A pink skinned demon with hot pink hair, yellow eyes, and dark purple wings. She was flying around, looking at the castle. "Do you think she's one of Qin's daughters," Pyrus asked me.

She seemed to notice us and disappeared in a puff of pink smoke before appearing beside us. "Hi, I'm Mania, have you seen my fath- err I mean Qin," she asked us. "I'm Pyrus, and this is Nathaniel," Pyrus introduced. "I need to make this fast, my sisters don't know I'm here and I really don't know how they'll react if they found out," she told us.

"We'll take you to him," I told him. I followed the bond to the media room and poked my head in and saw him asleep, beneath Shelton, on top of Drake who were also alseep. I woke them up, while informing Qin he had a visitor. When Mania came in Qin stood up as she threw herself into his arms. "I'm so sorry father," she cried. "You had every right to be angry," Qin told her. He held her out at arm's length. "Are you eating enough and are you girls safe?" She nodded, "We made a cabin north of here. Shyrah hunts and Karla grows crops. They both went off to go hunting in the Demon realm for some things we need so I took this chance to come tell you, I forgive you."

"Mania, you need to listen to me, this land will soon be humans only. We are all moving to a land we are creating. I want you and your sisters to come with us. I know they're mad at me, but it would kill me if I left you girls behind. We have no idea how the humans are going to react and treat those who choose to stay here. I don't want anything to happen to the three of you," Qin told her. She bit her lip, "I'll inform them, but I don't know how they're going to react." He nodded, "That's all I ask." She then made something appear and handed it to him before kissing his cheek and disappearing in a puff of pink smoke.

"What did she give you," I asked him. "It's a viewing crystal. It allows us to magically communicate like Skype and Facetime," he replied. "Its how she plans on staying in contact." "Do you think her sisters will listen," Pyrus asked him. Qin sighed sadly, "Goddess I hope so."
