You Were Up Early

Chapter 13

Peter's Pov:

I wake up very confused. Then I remember what happened last night. I look over to my side and see Pietro laying beside me.

"Pietro?" I say super quietly, "Are you awake?" I ask.

"Hey Cinnamon Roll, how'd you sleep?" he asks as he tirns towards me.

"Good, no nightmares." I say smiling. "What time is it?" I ask.

Pietro becomes a blur for a second then returns, "3:13 AM" he says.

"Oh, did I wake you?" I ask, I really hope I didn't.

"No, I've been up for a while. Don't sleep much remember?" He says smiling.

"Okay good... What do you usually do this early in the morning?" I ask.

"Train," he replies.

"Cool, are you going to today?" I ask.

"I wasn't planning on it, unless you'd like to," he says.

"That would be fun. If that's okay with you."

"Of course it is," He says, "Wanna go now?".

"Sure, what do I wear?".

"You could wear your suit. We can get you some work out clothes soon." he replies.

"Okay," I say.

"I just have to grab some clothes, I'll be right back." he says and dashes off.

I get up and see my backpack. I take out my suit and change into it. I push the button and it tightens around me.

"You look good! Where did you get ypur suit? " Pietro says as he comes in.

"Thanks, I made the suit myself." I reply.

"Wow, that's amazing Cinnamon Roll!" he says. I smile.

"Ready?" he asks.

"Yup." he picks me up and we're off. He puts me down and we're right outside the Tower.

"So what do you usually do?" I ask.

"I usually start off with a run, some combat training after, then some stuff in the gym. I finish off with some meditation."

"Okay sounds fun, what's the rout for the run?" I ask.

It's about 5:30 when we finish. That was so much fun!

"Pietro that was so fun!" I tell him excitedly.

"Yeah it was, wasn't it?" he smiles, "Much more fun than doing it alone.".

I beam at him. We walk up to the kitchen and see Steve and Bucky. It looks like they're about to go running.

"Hey guys," Pietro says.

"Hey! Peter did you join Pietro this morning?" Bucky asks.

"Yeah and it was so much fun!" I say super happily.

"You get up early then, don't you?" Steve smiles.

I shrug. "We're going for a run but we'll be back soon, okay?" Bucky says giving me a small hug.

"Okay, have fun!" I say smiling. They walk out.

"You're sounding pretty hyper today," Pietro says chuckling.

"I'm just having so much fun!".

"Good, now I have a hyper buddy!" he says laughing. "Want something to eat, my hyper Cinnamon Roll?".

"Sure!" I say. Pietro's right, I'm definitely hyper.
