Peter's POV:
A few hours after I found Nellie, my mother and sister return from their walk, shouting through the house until they find me, still sat holding Nellie's hand.
My mum instantly asks what happened and I explain the whole fiasco. My sister is then sent to bring the doctor in order to evaluate Nellie's state. In the mean time, my mother piles the blankets on Nellie and leaves us sat there alone.
~~~~~~~half an hour later~~~~~~~
When the doctor arrives, Nellie is examinated and I retell the story yet again. After this examination, it is determined that Nellie will sleep for the next few days and we are to fetch the doctor when she wakes and feed her soup in the mean time. "She probably has pneumonia, but should recover with enough heat and care." The doctor finishes gravely.
A/N: that's all you're getting for now, the next chapter will probably be in Nellie's POV and will explain more. I don't know when it'll be up though, but hopefully soon cause my holidays start tomorrow!!! ☺
