"We're going now. Bye~"

Hugging Haerin, Hyejin waved goodbye together with Jeno and off they went to walk down the streets for ramen. Hands intertwined and lips etched wide, the two synced their steps and walked enthusiastically.

The silent chirp of birds as they flap their wings in the dull sky of the night echoed through the streets where they walked hand in hand. Smiles wider than the sea, the two entered the well-known restaurant and sat down on a table for two.

"Remembe-"

"Yes, this place is where I stole your wallet."

Hyejin laughed and said sorry to Jeno making the boy smiled back in delight. Memories of them fighting for his wallet resonated in their heads as they continued to talk about their near-death fights together.

"I wanted to kill you so bad that time. Good thing I didn't"

"Thank you?"

Laughter filled the silent atmosphere of the restaurant as only few people dined in. Looks of pure gladness and appreciation from elders were diverted unto them; reminiscing the past memories they had just like the new couple.

"Good evening, sir. May I ask your order?"

The young waitress smiled at Jeno, completely ignoring the fact that his girlfriend is in front of him. Glaring at the two, Hyejin scoffed in annoyance and stared at how her boyfriend would respond to the flirts the waitress gave him.

"Oh...one of this please." Jeno pointed at a certain menu and looked over at Hyejin who was staring blankly at the girl. "And uh...babe, what's yours?"

"B-babe? Oh...this one." Hyejin smiled at the girl.

The waitress faked a smile and harshly wrote her order. After a while her smile was once again etched on her lips, batting her eyelashes unto Jeno which made the couple utterly uncomfortable. Weird looks were diverted to them by the customers who were peacefully eating their food.

"Anything more, sir?" The waitress giggled, not minding their looks. "Drinks, perhaps?"

"We-"

"We're fine with water. Thank you."

Jeno awkwardly smiled at the two and nodded at the waitress for her to go. She smiled forcefully and bowed down as she earned glares from multiple customers causing Hyejin to scoff in annoyance. He then landed his eyes unto her scrunched up face and had the cue to comfort her.

"Perks of having a handsome boyfriend." Hyejin rolled her eyes.

Jeno chuckled and held Hyejin's hand on the table; caressing it softly in attempt to calm her down. Sighing, the girl placed her other hand on Jeno's and kissed his hand that flustered Jeno. Silence filled the whole place and only chatters of a few restaurant workers were heard. Eyes glued outside, Hyejin stared at her dull face that reflected unto the glass window while Jeno kept his eyes on her alluring figure.

"No matter what happens, you're mine and I am yours. Got that?"

The dull face she once had vanished in thin air, replaced by a dead-gorgeous smile increasing the pulse-rate of the boy who longed her the most. That smile was never seen by him before, even when they had their romantic times together. The smile she hid from anyone finally came out, shocking the boy.

"You're so beautiful." Jeno's eyes crystallized. "So beautiful."

After eating, the couple went immediately at a nearby park, wandering as they talk about their plans and past memories. The park was bright and adorable as kids ran around, not fearing any strangers.

"I'm excited for new year. We're finally getting out of this year." Hyejin giggled.

"I'm more excited to see you in every second of my li-"

"Look, cotton candy!" Hyejin gasped and jogged towards the vendor.

"But...we just ate minutes ago."

Jeno crossed his arms and waited for the stubborn girl who had three cotton candies in her hands. He knitted his eyebrows in confusion as to why she had three but soon realized that the two were for her. As she jogged towards him, he immediately smiled as he saw how happy she was for getting the sweets.

"This one's for you."

Hyejin pursed her lips and gave one to Jeno who slowly shook his head. The girl frowned and brought the candy down while looking at Jeno who couldn't stop smiling which made her confused.

"Okay then. I'll eat all of these."

Hyejin brought the pink candy up, leveling her mouth that was already watering from the sight of the pink-sweet candy. As she took a bite, few strips of it came along which gave a cue to Jeno and immediately crouched down to her level to eat the remaining strips over her mouth.

With widened eyes and pounding heart, Hyejin pursed her lips to prevent herself from squealing due to their closeness since she did not want kids to see what was happening.

"That one's for me."

Jeno smirked after licking his lips, then proceeding to walk away, leaving his girlfriend in utter shock for what he did in public. Soon enough, Hyejin's fragile heart came back to normal making her smile.

"That sneaky bastard."
