Jace walked around the man struggling in his chair. They had known one another for as long as it took Jace to knock him out, tie him up, and for him to wake.
"Why are you doing this?"
"To protect my family, that is my only lives goal, to feed and protect my wife and three beautiful children." He replied as he let his hand do the work. Blood dripped to the floor, Jace smiled. "Dinner is on its way."
Short Sweet and Simple!
Thought it was a nice little prompt and I haven't done much with Jace, Anika and the kids as well kids. Since book two is all about them as young adults/teens I thought I would do random things about their child hood every once in a while.
