I wake up in the darkness of the night. The stars give a sort of light, but the sky is full of fog. I can barely make out the body of dead people in front of me.

I am alive. The bodies are probably the mongol I killed. But who killed the rest, and why did they retreat? I try to get up but feel a sharp pain on my hand. I am not free. There are chains on me, and I am connected to a pole. Neden, I think, neden mongolar? Just then I make out a flag. The Mongolian flag. The same flag Dundar Bey brought to the tribe, to be Sanjak Bey for.

I was in the mongol hell.

The mongols laying on the ground are sleeping. There is no movement, as everything is passed out. I struggle with my chains, trying to slip out of them. My wrists are really small, but I guess they noticed that, as my hands were completely stuck.

I hear movement, and see a sus figure making his way out of the tent. I slouch down and pretend do be unconscious, but it's too late. "Wake up Hatun." Ughh. It's the annoying Komutan Kongar. "What do you want Komutan Kongar?" He sighs and looks away. "Allah, please forgive me from my Mongolian days." I hear him whisper and breathe in. Ahh, so Konur wasn't meeting up with the enemy. He wasn't a traitor. A sense of relief washes over me and I look over to the convert.

"What is your new name, brave kardeş?" He looks over and smiles. "Not new, Baçı. It's Goktug. I am Konur Alp's long lost brother." I gasp but he holds his hand up. He tells me we can talk about it later, but he needs to help me escape. Goktug slips a key out of his belt, and turns behind me. He unclasps the chains and I bring my arms to the front of me, soothing my wrists. "Gal Baçı" I get up and he motions to move to the right.

I step between the mongol bodies trying to not disturb them. He leads me to a horse and is about to help me get on. "Ahh, my dear son Kongar. You have finally caught on to your past, and now you are floating away with it." It was Balgay. My eyes widen in fear and Goktug puts his hand up in front of me, motioning me behind him. "YOU DESTROYED ME BALGAY! Now I will make you pay." He reaches behind him and pulls out his hançer. Goktug hands the knife to me and unsheathes his sword.

We head into battle.
