Ch-5 Help

KEVIN'S POV

Everyone laughed as Alice narrated the whole incident to the family.

"Sorry for that again,please!" Alice cried with a chuckle.

" It's OK." I replied ,uncomfortable due to the growing attention .

" We must leave now, Kevin." Alec whispered in my ear.

" What's the hurry! Let me get something cooked for you!" Mrs Watson said with a smile.

" Would appreciate that ,ma'am but just so you know,the killer is still free.
We must gather more facts and track it down before anyone else becomes a victim." Alec explained.

At the same time ,my phone rang .

It was Fred!

" Hey Fred! Hoya doing?"

" Kevin! Come over quickly! There is someone in my house!" Fred cried .

" Wait! Have you called the cops!?" I asked.

" What happened?" Alec asked but I ignored him.

" They are on their way but I am dead scarred! I can hear the intruder's footsteps clearly. Seems like it is walking continuously downstairs!"

" Where are you hiding?" I asked.

" In my closet,upstairs! I have locked the door as well!"

" Wait! I am coming!" I said .

I gave the phone to Alec and said
" Need to go right now! Fred's in trouble."

" You drive ,I will stay on the phone!" Alec said.

We both quickly went outside the mansion towards my car.

" What happened!?" Mr Watson asked as he came out as well.

" Will tell ya later! Need to go!" I cried as I started the engine and began driving away .

ALEC'S POV

While Kevin was driving ,I am kept talking to Fred.

" That intruder doesn't know where you are hiding,right?" I asked.

" N-Not yet!" Fred stammered due to fear.

" You sure that he is hostile?!" I asked.

" I watched my freaking dog getting killed by him from outside the window!!" He replied.

" Tell me about its appearance and the weapon he possesses right now."

" He is wearing a black hoodie. Couldn't see his face as he is wearing a mask. He carries a big freaking machete !!" Fred replied.

" Kevin."

" Yes?"

" I have a feeling that its the same killer who killed Smiths and attacked us too." I muttered.

" I don't wanna die!! Please help me!! Wait,he is coming upstairs!!!" Fred yelled in fear .

" Keep it down!" I hissed.

" Kevin!! How much time will it take!?" I asked anxiously .

" Just 10 more minutes approximately!"He replied.

Suddenly , I could hear the sound of sirens in the background.

" Seems the police arrived! Be calm." I said with a sigh of relief.

"But Alec. He has already broke the door and is in my room." Fred whispered with a sob.

" Don't speak! It will hear you." I hissed under my breath.
