CH-13 OUTSMARTED

NEXT DAY
KEVIN'S POV

" So, what happened with Sarah?" Alec asked as he swiped his smart phone's screen.

" Nothing special. I stayed with her in the library for whole 3 hours until she left." I muttered, getting ready.

" Did you made sure that she reached home safe?" Alec asked.

" Yup." I replied.

"You know today's task, right?" Alec asked.

" Looking after Gary." I replied in a bored tone.

I had already informed Gary about this and surprisingly, he was willing to cooperate!!

" He said that he would be at the from of my house by 9 am. Its 8:54 right now." I mumbled as I looked at the time in my smartphone.

" I too have an important task to do today." Alec muttered as he opened my bedroom's drawer and took out a pouch.

" What is it? And why is it in my house?" I asked Alec.

" Remember when that bastard killed Fred? Many particles of this white power were found in the room and I collected them before the police could arrive." Alec replied .

" And why is it here?" I asked him, narrowing my eyes.

" Haha, you see, my house's drawers are already filled with my stuff." Alec said with a nervous chuckle.

" You mean those anime mangas, right?" I asked with a sigh.

Suddenly,  the front door's bell rang.

" Alright, gotta go now! Catch ya later!" I exclaimed before rushing downstairs.

I opened the door and unsurprisingly, Gary was there.

" Didn't expected you to be so accurate." I said with a smile.

" Whatever, lets go!!" Gary said as he began to jog.

" Wait, are we going there by foot?" I asked.

" Off course!! Its only about 800 metres away!! Now catch up before I leave!"

Saying this, Gary jogged away.

There starts my physical education, dammit!!

ALEC'S POV

Now, its my time to shine, I guess!?

I slowly got up and began to move towards Kevin's bathroom.

Gotta fresh up before I visit Norris.

Norris is a brilliant self-proclaimed scientist.

Identifying a substance won't be that complicated stuff for him.

After half an hour, I was ready.

Damn! Bathing is difficult when you have to protect your bandages from water!

I walked outside and checked my wallet .

I am broke beyond infinity right now!

I went inside and searched for money in Kevin's house.

After 10 minutes of searching , I found some. 20 dollars on the safe.

I guess it will do.

Time to pick up a taxi.

40 MINUTES LATER

I was currently at Norris's from door.

As I knocked for 2 minutes, a dark skinned, chubby short guy opened the door.
