This is set after the fire that burned the Moriarty residence when they were kids.

"Are you all right, madam?" Young William asked when an elderly woman lost her footing and he helped her up.

"Oh dear, thank you for the help." The elderly woman smiled in gratitude to both William and Louis. She dusted off her worn-out apron and squinted to look at the two boys properly and noticed their high quality clothing. "Oh my, aren't you two boys from a noble family? What are you doing in these dirty streets, young lords?"

"We were only looking around to pass time, madam." The older blonde smiled.

Actually, they were only wandering around helping and giving advice to those who were in need while waiting for Albert and Elise, who took her out to explore the library as he did his small errand.

"Is that so? It must be nice to be young and full of energy." She chuckled in amusement at the two before walking away. "Well then, off I go."

"Please wait, madam." William called out to her after noticing her in a rush. "Are you having some sort of trouble?"

"Yes, but please do not concern yourself with it, young ones. This old lady's troubles are not worth a young lord's concern."

"We don't want to sound presumptuous but we'd like to help you, madam." Louis says with a smile. "Can you tell us what is wrong?"

She sighed as she looked at the alleyway before facing the two. "If you boys insist..."

The old lady introduced herself as Heidi and she was looking for her pet dog that suddenly went missing today. The dog goes by the name of "Emily", a black flat coated terrier that had been her long time companion ever since her husband died years ago.

"Emily is a smart girl and an understanding one as well. She remembers all the occasions and she even had to remind me at the days I would sometimes forget by barking." She says as she rubbed her bony knuckles in worry. "This is the first time she ran from home on my husband's birthday. It was all too sudden."

William and Louis looked at each other and nodded. The older blonde stepped forward and politely asked her. "Heidi-san, can you tell us the places and stores you would frequently visit?"

"We'll definitely find her. Please leave it to us."

Heidi looked at the two boys and sighed as she told them the places she often visited.

"Oh my! Emily! You naughty girl, you made me so worried!" Heidi caressed the dog's head before looking at the two boys gratefully. "Thank you, my lords. Where did you find her in such short amount of time?"

William smiled a little. "We narrowed down the possible places Emily went so it wasn't that hard looking for her. But before that, Heidi-san, Emily has something she wanted to give you."

"Hm?" The old lady turned his attention to her dog and noticed that she's carrying something in her mouth. Emily dropped the small box on her wrinkly hands and barked at her, as if telling her to open it. And so she did.
