As soon as Albert said his orders, everyone went to their respective places. As for Louis, he carried the unconscious Elise in his arms and gently placed her on the carriage seat where Moneypenny is.

"Wait! Louis-kun, Elli-chan's hair ornament is...!" Bond exclaimed when he noticed that it was gone from her hair. Even though Bond was only told about Elise and William's relationship a few months ago when he first joined, he knew how important the hairpin is to them.

"Ah, don't worry about it, Bond." Louis smiled and gestured to Elise's hands. "I let Elise hold it. I think... it's better for her to hold on to it."

True to his words, the white camellia ornament they would usually see on Elise's chestnut brown hair is now cradled on her hands as the said woman was leaning on Moneypenny's shoulder while sleeping soundly.

"That's a relief..." Bond sighed in relief. "I thought it was dropped somewhere while we are leaving."

"That won't happen." Louis says in assurance. "Elise is sure that this gift nii-san gave her won't drop that easily. Miraculously, her hairpin never once dropped on its own."

Bond let a small chuckle, thinking that the sentiment was quite romantic. "Elli-chan treasures it well. Well then, Louis-kun, aren't you coming in?"

The mentioned blond was looking back at the manor. When he heard Bond calling for him, he blinked and stepped inside the carriage.

"Apologies, I was thinking of something else." Louis says before looking at Jack who is manning the reins. "Sensei, let's leave. Please be careful on the road."

"Mn. Leave it to this old man."

The old butler ushered the horses to move, and the carriage which carried the remaining members left the estate. Louis glanced back at the mansion where the four of them grew up for years, slowly disappearing from his sight.

The eldest, Albert, stayed behind.

.

"Louis, I will leave Elise to you." Albert faced the younger blonde who was still remaining in the room. "Make sure you brought everything she needs in the safehouse. This estate will be no more after this."

"Hai. I will but, Albert-nii-san... What about you?" Louis asked but the other man simply smiled a little.

"I have to do what must be done. You should go now, Louis."

"...You won't see Elise off...?"

Albert's smile was a little rueful as he patted his shoulder. "Travel safely, my little brother."

.

From the window of their mansion, Albert could see the carriage fading from a distance as they traveled farther and farther. He felt relieved seeing them leave to a safe place, but at the same time, a little saddened that he didn't get to see his sister. But then, this was the choice he made.

"In the end, you didn't even see her off." Moran tells him before finishing his whiskey.

"I know. I am a terrible brother, aren't I?" The brunet turned his back on the window and finished his remaining wine. He took a nostalgic glance at his now empty glass and smiled a little. "Fu... The last time Elise and I shared a drink was a few weeks ago. Yet thinking about it feels like ages ago."
