"Oya? You're serving tea to Will later, Elli?" Jack asked Elise after seeing her inside the kitchen.

"Yes." She smiled in reply as she poured a freshly brewed tea in one cup. "Ah, would you like some as well, sensei?"

"I'll get some for myself, young lady." He chuckled before getting a cup of his own. "As your butler, I feel bad that you have to serve me."

"But you are our instructor and our caretaker when we were still children, sensei. I feel a little obliged to serve you with at least some tea and tarts." She tilted her head to him and smiled. "Please?"

"Good grief... I really can't say no to you, little Elli." He handed her his cup with a laugh. "All right, just for today, I suppose."

Elise poured him tea and served him a plate of Manchester tarts she made earlier. Satisfaction was on the older man's face when he took a bite of the tart before complimenting the younger woman.

"Your cooking is as heavenly as always, little Elli. I could see another reason why Al decided not to hire a maid."

She giggled after hearing his statement. "I don't think so, sensei."

"Elise." Louis entered the kitchen and saw that she was placing the teacup and a plate of tarts on the tray. "Ah, so you've already prepared nii-san's tea. Should I bring it over to him?"

"If it's not much of a trouble, please do, Louis-nii-sama." She lifted the tray to him when all of a sudden...

"!!"

CRASH

"Elise!"

She felt her chest tightening and she dropped the tray to instinctively clutch her chest.

Louis stepped over the broken chinaware and spilled tea and tarts to catch her before she could collapse. Fortunately, she didn't lose conscious or anything, but she was coughing heavily and breathing raggedly as she leaned on him.

"It hurts... it hurts...!" She shut her eyes tight as she covered her mouth while coughing. Tears were forming on the corner of her eyes as she felt the immense pain in her chest. "It hurts even more than before...!"

Louis let her lean on his chest while rubbing her back while saying soothing words to the younger woman. "It will be okay. It will be okay, Elise."

She was not aware that his voice was shaking and didn't notice that the old butler was already on her side with her medicine tea at hand. Jack furrowed his eyebrows in worry as he waited for her attack to calm down. For him, this is the first time he'd seen her attack again after so many years apart.

Elise covered her mouth to cough again and when she had finally calmed down, her palm had small splotches of blood tainted on it.

Their eyes widened when they saw the blood, but Elise only stared at it before sighing, as she had half expected it to happen again. Jack wordlessly handed her the medicinal tea and she drank it slowly before breathing deeply, feeling the pain in her lungs lessen after drinking.

Seeing that she seemed fine for now, the two males relaxed their tense shoulders.

"Thank you, Louis-nii-sama, Sensei." She softly said before looking at the broken chinaware and spilled tea in front of her. "I'm sorry if I broke the tea set. I'll go replace it now."
