A/N: Soooo... I realized that I murdered most of the readers because of the confession scene.

Are there any survivors left?

If you guys are wondering why I haven't updated in a while, it's because I finally laid out how the whole story will flow after reading the latest chapters. Prepare yourselves hehehehehe... *evil laugh*

It wasn't easy and I don't know if I can properly express it. This story which I started on a whim is now something I invest my time in thinking of how it should flow. One of the things I enjoyed writing is the language of flowers that frequently shows in this story.

I'm not a flower expert so please forgive me if the meaning of the flowers are different. I just searched them online.

Anyways, here's the next chapter.

Happy reading!!!

---------------------------

Louis woke up first, and was surprised to see that the kitchen is empty. Normally at this hour, Elise is the one always to wake up first and would prepare breakfast for them. To think that she's not here yet, he can only think of one reason.

"She is still probably resting, considering she hasn't fully recovered yet. Oh well, it seems I'll have to cook breakfast again today." He made a small smile since it had been a while since he cooked for his brothers and sister. "She deserves a little break, every now and then."

He picked up the newspaper outside first and placed them on the coffee table for William and Albert to read later. He thought of calling William awake but, remembering how his older brother made a calm face behind his pain yesterday, he opted to give him some space.

The only thing he can do now is to act normally for his older brother and little sister.

"Yo, Louis." Moran says upon entering the mansion. "Oh? It's rare to see you in charge of breakfast today."

"I'm giving Elise time to rest so for now, I'm in charge until she's completely better." He replied until he saw the bottle in the older man's hand. He frowned at him. "Moran-san, please don't tell me you are going to drink this early in the morning."

"Why not? It's not like I'm harming anybody." Moran smiled smugly as he poured his self a glass of whisky and lounged at the sofa.

"Chores." Louis loomed over next to him as he stared intently to the point it might pierce the man's thick skull. "May I remind you of the room that you keep using as a smoking area to be cleaned by now? It's already weeks and you always say that you'll clean it next time."

"Geh." He looked away before clicking his tongue. "I'll do it next time I-"

"Now."

He sweat dropped at the coldness of his voice but he tried his luck to persuade him. "Come on, just this time. I promise I'll do it next time."

"You told me that two weeks ago."

It didn't work.

"Urk..." He was scratching his hair to think of another excuse. He might be their best marksman and a former navy man but he's lazy as hell when it comes to chores. "Damn your memory, Louis."

Louis decided to teach him a lesson. "If you don't do it now, no food for you. I'll even tell Elise not to cook for you if you ask for her cooking. Our sister is kind that's why I will have to tell her to decline you."

"Wait! Wait! You're so harsh, Louis!" The man cried out in protest comically. "The fact that I'm eating here means I have less expenses to worry! And her food is the best! Don't do this to me!"
