"Master. Do you have any idea how delusional you sound?"

"Oh come on! It'll be fun! Trust me!"

"Like hell I am."

Archer continued to frown upon his Master, Ritsuka Fujimaru who continued to pester him while he cleaned the dishes.

"But why not? I don't see what's wrong with going on ahead and having some fun!" Ritsuka whined.

"Yes well... I prefer having my own 'fun' staying here in the kitchen. Where I belong. In my safe place... That I enjoy... That I cook at..."

"Okay I get it you like cooking. But please Archer?"

"No."

"Mostly everyone else is going ahead as well. You're the only one who isn't trying to go. Are you really gonna stay in the Chaldea all by yourself?"

"If I must. Then yes."

"Archer... Please?"

"..."

Archer frowned at his master. With his arms crossed he can only sigh. Honestly, why does he even want him to go? It's not like he's gonna be contributing much. Then again, he supposes it wouldn't hurt...

Las Vegas. The location of their summer break that shall be spent upon at.

"If I must... Then I'll go." Archer said in defeat. His Master smiled in victory and left.

With his eyes closed. Archer thinks about what he shall do. Perhaps he can learn some new dishes from his vacation. Then again, isn't his vacation already here in Chaldea? It's far better being in Chaldea than being in the Counter Force as of now. His job as a Counter Guardian still remains. He's here to help restore mankind. Then once it's all over, he'll be returning to both the Throne of Heroes and the Counter Force under Alaya.

"Oh, by the way, go on ahead and wear the Spiritron Dress you've worn last summer when we went camping!" Ritsuka said.

"Burn in hell, Master." Archer said but Ritsuka was far gone already. "Making me wear that outfit... How infuriating. I remember staring into the mirror and seeing myself in that outfit. I hated my being with every fiber of my body. Sigh I can't catch a break can I?" Archer said.

He decided to close off the cafeteria. Not like it mattered. He was probably one of the last few who still hasn't gone to Vegas yet. Most Servants already were on their vacation. He was one of the few who wasn't interested in going, but he doesn't have much of a choice either way.

He knows his master wouldn't force a command seal upon him. The boy is too kind towards them. He treats everyone fairly, quite the odd Master if he must say so.

But then he'll also feel a little bad about ignoring his master's pleads. Seems like he wants him to go ahead and have fun. Who can he be and deny his master of one simple thing?

With a small smile, he closed down the cafeteria.

Honestly... What an odd group of people he's met at his time in Chaldea. Then again... He was the first Servant that his master summoned from. Answering the boy's call and plead.

He doesn't regret his choice of answering his Master. Not one bit. While indeed being but a mere Servant. He also was his teacher. Teaching him the ways of being a Master. While also explaining things of magi of all that he knew. After all, there wasn't much he can teach besides the basics. He was never really a great mage when he was alive. Henceforth he didn't have much to teach. Now that his master has many better Servants than him to teach him along the way. He isn't needed. He just helped push his master forward to becoming the best he can.
