Nang makarating sa Pilipinas, dumiretso kaagad ako ng pasok. Ang tagal rin ng oras ng biyahe at kahit antok na ako at pagod, pumasok pa rin ako.

"Sagrada, huh," Laureen teased.

"Shut up," pikon na sabi ko.

Nilagpasan ko siya. Dumaan si Iris pero hindi ko pinansin. Diretso ang lakad ko hanggang sa makarating sa classroom. Napatigil pa ako nang marinig ang usapan nilang lahat.

"Edi, hihiram tayo kay Nix ng eroplano." Dinampot ko agad ang mineral botter at binato kay Finn. "Langya! Sino 'yon?!"

Idadamay na naman ako nito. Nakakainis. I rolled my eyes in irritation. Tangina ng mga 'to, nandadamay, ampucha.

"Me," ah, I am so tired! "Don't drag my name in that, Marquez." I glared.

"Ano ba Nix. We are planning to earn Darlene's trust again."

Yeah, I heard. I want that too. Gusto kong makuha ang tiwala niya pero paano? Pinagtutulakan niya ako palayo kaya paano ko sisimulan? I can waste a lot of money and gas just to see her! Kahit maubos ang pera ko pero kung siya ang kapalit, why not? I can lose my riches just for Darlene.

They asked where she was, and I told them that she was in Spain right now. I missed her already. One night isn't enough to spend time with her.

"I was in Spain, that's the reason why I'm absent." Ang sabi ko, isang araw lang pero bakit dalawang araw akong absent? Damn, nakakabaliw si Darlene.

"Ay, talaga?! Ano'ng ginawa mo doon?"

"I just found out something." In the next three weeks... coronation day. She's the heiress at siya lang ang inaasahan ng Lola niya.

Pero tatanggapin niya ba? Handa ba siyang magmahal ng panibago at isang katulad niya na may dugong bughaw? Hindi ko na alam. Paano kung pumayag nga siya? She's willing to marry someone else?

Sumulpot si Laureen. Wala naman talaga akong balak sumama sa lunch nila kaso nabanggit si Darlene, eh. Kaya tumayo ako, she's calling Laureen sometimes.

"What do you want?" I asked Iris when she stopped in front of me.

"I want you back, Nix, please... I want us back..." she held my arm.

"There's no us, Iris. In the first place, walang tayo. There's nothing between us even before, so stop this." I didn't push her, I just removed her hands. I'm tired of her, paulit-ulit lang ang ginagawa at sinasabi niya.

"Why can't you just choose me?! She's gone! Iniwan ka na niya!" She started again.

"But she's still here, she's just there for a month. She'll be back here. Sa kaniya lang ako nakaranas ng tunay na pagmamahal but I was stupid for hurting her like that! She doesn't deserved that kind of..."

"I'm loving you too, Nix! I'm inlove with you! Why can't you look for me! Kaya kong pantayan ang pagmamahal na 'yon, so please, just... just choose me, I'm begging you!" She begged.

"Pero kaya niyang higitan ang pagmamahal mo. I'm begging you too, tigilan mo na ako." Inalis ko ang kamay niya. "Just focus on yourself, Iris."

This is ridiculous! Sawang-sawa na ako sa mga pinagsasabi niya. Diretso lang ang lakad ko papunta sa cafeteria. Gusto ko na rin talaga matulog... inaantok na ako! Sa mansion nalang ako mananatili.

I sat on the chair when I got in the cafeteria. I took my phone out and looked for some news about Darlene. She was okay, according to Jacob. They went out for some horse riding, while Darius sent me a picture of her. She was drinking a water, may pawis pa sa noo niya kaya siguradong nag-horse riding siya.
