Darlene was away from me but I moved closer to her, pero kaagad rin akong lumayo. Sino ba naman ang hindi lalayo, e, kumuha na siya ng gunting. Mahirap na baka ihagis niya bigla sa akin. And until now, naiinis pa rin siya. Who wouldn't be, right?

She was rolling her eyes at me at kanina pa niya 'yon ginagawa. Gusto ko siyang tawanan dahil halata sa mukha niya ang irita. Namumula lagi ang pisngi niya tuwing inis siya.

She raised her middle finger. "Fuck you."

Damn, now I know that she's not really like the other girls. Ang lakas magtaas ng gitnang daliri. I winked and her face flashed a bit. I smirked and turned my back. Babawian kita mamaya, Darlene. Just wait. Iinisin pa kita lalo.

I need to talk to Laureen first, I know sooner or later Darlene will find out about Iris. Of course, halata palang sa kaniya, alam ko na overthinker o mahilig siya maguluhan. Also, I don't have time to tell her, so Laureen has to do her assignment.

I actually don't care about us… about Iris and I. I have loved her. It was. Past tense. However, pinapahalagahan ko pa rin naman ang pinagsamahan naming dalawa noon. Minahal ko rin naman siya noon but that love is now faded. And I think, it's okay for us na hindi talaga naging kami. So, it was just a fling, I guess? Flings that have feelings.

"Where's Laureen?" I asked as I entered the classroom. I sat in the middle of the table while everyone was writing their notes.

Ruth pointed to the back. Lumingon ako do'n. Laureen was sitting while doing her shit. She stood up when she saw me.

"What do you want?" Tinuro ko ang nasa labas at sumunod naman siya. "So, what now?"

Magkapatid yata ang isang 'to at si Darlene. Panay ang irap, nakakaasar.

"I want you to do something." I leaned against the wall.

"Is there a fee for that?"

Hindi talaga siya mauutusan ng walang kapalit na pera.

"Fine." I took ten thousand out of my wallet. "Here."

"Madali ka naman palang kausap!" She chuckled. "Anyway, what now?"

"You know that we have a new girl classmate, right?" A girl that we will surely protect and love soon.

"Yeah, I heard from Kylie, she told me earlier. What about her?" Tumaas ang kilay niya. "Don't tell me… gusto mo na kaagad?"

Kumunot ang noo ko. "The hell? Of course not!"

"Defensive," tawa niya. "So, ano nga?"

"She's our new classmate and I know sooner or later, she will know about Iris. I want you to tell her about it. If she asks, answer it. Iyon lang ang gagawin mo. About my friends and I agendas, kami na ang bahala mag-sabi sa kaniya noon. Inis pa rin siya sa amin kaya sa susunod na lang siguro."

Ayoko siyang kausapin ngayon baka mabato niya ako ng gunting nang wala sa oras.

"Huh? Pinagtitripan niyo, 'no?!"

"Yeah, but that's the last," sagot ko.

"Right... last." She laughed. "I'll do what you said but please tell Gavin to date me."

I rolled my eyes. "Stop demanding I will never do that." In her dreams. Gavin won't like her.

"Ay, nakalimutan kong magkaaway nga pala kayong lahat sa labas ng lugar na 'yon."

"Shut your mouth."

I went back to the classroom after I talked to Laureen. Hindi na ako nagulat nang may Teacher sa harap. Napagalitan pa ako dahil late raw ako sa klase niya. Hindi ko na pinansin at nagpatuloy nalang sa paglalakad papunta sa upuan ko.
