Safest

Dawa awoke, his head felt like they were trying to separate from it's neck and itself. He was in a entire different room. The sunlight was pouring from the windows and the light blue walls only made the room look brighter. 

"You're awake! Hyung he's awake!" Jimin shouted waking up Jin. Everyone else was surrounding him. 

Dawa rubbed his eyes craving a nice cup of warm tea. "I suppose so." Dawa stated. He still looking around and taking in the new surrounding. 

Namjoon put a hand on Dawa's shoulder, it seemed that his eyes were tearful, his lashes stuck together. "Do you feel okay?" Dawa nodded. "Do you remember anything from last night?" 

"I remember waking up and a girl in my bed. Then she started saying things, I couldn't really understand, and then I was being choked..." Dawa stated. 

They were all quiet unsure of what to say. Do-Hwan and Sae-Jun had been down at the station figuring things out most of the night. "Our managers are coming in about 10 to 15 minutes." Hobi's voice was too serious than normal. Jungkook couldn't even look at  Dawa because of the red markings the girl left around his neck. He found it too painful to look at. 

"Um...Me and Jimin will get you some tea and breakfast. We already had something to eat." And like that the two of them rushed out of the room. 

Dawa looked back at the rest of them. Staring expectantly for news. "What did the doctors say?" 

"They said that you would be fine, the only damage is your neck. They advised not to you overwork your voice. But besides that you're clear to go as soon as Sae-Jun hyung and Do-Hwan come back." Yoongi answered.

"Okay, we talked to the police, we talked to the girl's parents and doctors and we talked to Bang PD nim. Kenzie is um very troubled mentally. The doctors think he has a delusional disorder which is very uncommon and her parents will be taking care of her of course and get her what she needs. We have settled everything so our only concern is you and your safety." Sae-Jun spoke to everyone. Dawa was still on the bed, listening intently while he sipped his Chai tea. 

"We booked a new hotel. It seems that the other day when you met her, she followed you to the hotel and somehow got the spare key cards and got in the room. From now on, we'll be taking extra measures to keep safe." Sae-Jun concluded explaining how Kenzie had gotten in and why she did what she did.

It was their last day in the U.S. They had finished all of their concerts without pausing even after the incident. The members wanted to delay the concert for a day but Dawa insisted that he was fine and okay and very much capable of still performing. The others were not convinced but they decided that fighting with Dawa on this was not going to change anything and inistead they decided to keep a close eye on Dawa. 

In their hotel room they had two beds and Dawa now shared a room with Hobi. When they arrived at the hotel, they both got ready to sleep. Hobi then jumped on his own bed. Dawa watched Hobi sleep, he had then started sketching on the computer and then he had finished his book. He then started doing some origami. Anything to keep his mind occupied from not thinking about that night. 

"Dawa? You're still awake?" Almost 6 hours later, Hobi had gotten up to use the bathroom. He noticed Dawa doing some push ups when he was on his way back to bed. "Are you okay?" Hobi was unsure of what to do. He had never figured out how to decipher Dawa so he never knew when the guy needed comforting. 

Dawa walked towards the bed, dragging his feet. "Is...is it okay if I sleep in the same bed as you?" He asked almost in a whisper. Hobi wasn't sure if he heard that correctly. The younger was looking down and rubbing the back of his neck. Hobi knew that Dawa wasn't much of a skinship person, so he didn't really like sleeping in the same bed as others since it was too close to others. 

"Yeah! sure, here." Hobi moved a bit lifting his blanket in. "As long as you're comfortable." Hobi smiled fondly and the younger who was now peacefully sleeping. "Guess you were too frightened to sleep in your own bed." Hobi muttered wrapping his arms around the younger in a protective way.

From that moment on, Dawa would flinch a little everytime someone else besides his members  touched him. He was always standing between two members and he never shook anyone's hand if he could help it. He was less willing to talk to others as well. The members noticed this change and tried to help him heal by reading articles and studies to learn how to help someone who's gone through something like that. But the on;y effective thing that seemed to be working was being there for him to rely on. 

When boarding the plane the next day, one of the flight attendant accidently hit Dawa shoulder ever so lightly and Dawa jumped back a bit startled and frightened. Jimin shared a concerned look with Jin but their was nothing they could do about this behavior. 

Dawa sat next to Taehyung and Jungkook on the plane ride to Mexico City, and all the way there he slept peacefully knowing that he was surrounded by two people who loved and cared about him. He slept feeling safe between the two youngest. 

The members started to reconize that Dawa felt the safest around them and that made them proud of themselves and of Dawa. They were proud that Dawa was learning to lean on them even though he still had a long way to go and they were proud that they had gained Dawa's trust through pateince and understanding. 

Dawa really did feel the safest with his members now, too much to the point where he found it a bit scary.
